We loved our little get away to this cute safe spot! We definitely felt like we were safe with all the codes coming into the building and room. Such a beautiful location and a great spot in the city!

I really enjoyed my experience with Kasa. Especially traveling during the pandemic, having a place to stay that felt clean and safe was a must, and my Airbnb met both of these standards. The Kasa team was also very responsive and allowed me to check in earlier, saving me the stress of having to lug my bags around San Fransisco.

Bed was really comfy and the location was suitable for us. Thank you Kasa crew!

Not to great of a place but awesome the lounge area but the only thing sucks it closes at 6 am 10pm

It was super easy to check in and very clean and safe.

I liked the downstairs kitchen area. It was updated and new. I did not like that the bathroom had hair in it and the bathtub had back up after a nights shower. That was gross

The elevator left us stuck the first 3 nights we were there and we had to be left off on different floors. The rooms also stated that there would be AC , and we were told once arrived through an app because there was no front desk everything was virtual that there were no ACs in the room even though the room next to us had air-conditioning.The slats on the bed were broken and we had to keep popping them back in to place

Great location and great accommodation

The room is located in a central location. However, what is described as a boutique hotel, is more like a college dorm. A few issues with the experience: - Check in instructions (with entry codes) were never sent before my arrival, even if I went through the confirmation process several times. I had to call Kasa last minute to get the details to get in. - The sink in the room was clogged and overall the bathroom floor looked a bit dirty. - Overall, the room is much smaller than expected and the windows are so thin the room is very noisy at night. (We are even city people, and this was just too much) The goods: SF is cool and Kasa has good customer service!

Good location and value for money. Refill of certain amenities were lacking in a timely manner even after asking repeatedly.

Great place with lots of things very nearby. Check in was pretty easy, and check out as well. The room was a bit smaller than expected but good for a few day trip. Would probably book with them again

Was so happy to be able to long-term stay at Kasa. The housekeeping was great, and the building was clean. Free coffee is a plus! We did have the heat off, but for some reason seemed that heat was still coming out — it was a bit warm in the room at times.

Cute little place right in the heart of San Francisco. Perfect location. Super simple and clean.

The check in process is not well-communicated as I didn’t received the instruction prior to my arrival at the hotel. I need to make a phone call and waiting for the instruction sent to my email. The accomodation is located at a very bad neighbourhood - I see couple times a homeless person doing either sleeping or get high at the entrace. The security of the hotel is very poor as someone can access my room and installed something in the USB charging stations, I noticed something peculiar in my cellphone. I spoke to the hotel about this and they can’t do nothing. I changed my stay to another hotel due to high risk. If you are coming from different country and want to have good memory of San Francisco, this place is definitely should be avioded.

Nice room, clean, good furnishings in room. But had only 1 small window. Not great for long term stay. Also did not have restocking services even for almost a month long stay. Kitchen was really nice. Great coffee. Guest room was also really nice.

Room was as described with a great lounge / kitchen area in the basement! Only complaints were - clanging heater that would always go off in the middle of the night, and very poor water pressure in the bathroom. Otherwise, really great value.

It was a great room in a great location. The shared kitchen was top notch, and whenever I had questions or concerns they answered within 30 minutes, it was excellent.

Nice little spot

This Airbnb is an affordable and convenient location for people trying to tour and enjoy SF. The bed is comfortable and huge with fluffy pillows. There’s a small circular table for you to get work done or eat a quick meal accompanied by two cushioned chairs that are pretty comfy. The TV is a bit slow so don’t rely on it for entertainment. Closet has a lot of space and theres an iron + ironing board if you ever need to get rid of wrinkles in your clothing. Bathroom is clean and well organized. Only downside to the bathroom was that the toilet was a bit small but you learn to manage. There’s a hairdryer so that’s a plus. The wifi is around 10mbps up/down which is survivable, I had to teach classes on zoom and share screen and it worked so good enough. The shared kitchen and lounge area in the basement was nice and clean too. You’ll be sharing the fridge space with everyone though, so take a look before buying groceries. Laundry room has 3 washers and dryers which was enough and never really busy. They have detergent and dryer sheets so no need to purchase your own like me. Some big downsides to this place though is that you’ll be rudely awakened at like 5:30 am by the heater noises. There’s also some weird moaning/owl noises in the early early morning. So get earplugs. I feel like the ceiling had a leak too on my last day because there was a random puddle of water underneath my shoe on the day I left which was really odd. But honestly would definitely recommend this Airbnb

Great place to stay. Very clean rooms, comfortable bed, and quick responses from the host.

Our room was absolutely beautiful, clean, and comfortable. Instant hot water in both the showers and sinks was a plus, and the kitchen and basement area was well lit, inviting, and stocked well. The Kasa virtual staff were very communicative and swift about assisting you as well. The only advice would be to apply pressure on the outer touchpad to the Airbnb's lobby until the white dots appear, otherwise it hasn't read your touch. We had some trouble figuring that out. Parking can be crazy expensive as well (average was $40 for every 24 hrs) depending on when you visit, so a combination of free metered street parking after hours and spending money on parking garages/lots helped us during our 3 night stay. I would do research on the lots beforehand and strategize where to leave your car to avoid tickets or towing.

Kasa was the perfect, affordable spot.

My stay here was pleasant it was easy to check in and this spot was very close to union square (8 min walk) and there were also nice bars and restaurants in the area which was nice. The room was small but clean and the bed was comfortable.

Great location

In terms of location, this Kasa spot cannot be beat! Within walking distance of some great pubs, coffee shops, and food. The room was clean with lots of natural light, and the bed was comfortable. There is a television with Roku in the room, which was a nice touch. The heater makes some weird noises sometimes at night, and it was set quite high at the time of our arrival - turning it down seemed to get rid of the noise. There is no parking for guests, so I had to shell out an additional $30 a day to secure my car in the closest parking garage. I was a little disappointed because the kitchen is a communal space, and during COVID that doesn't feel safe to me; there is no staff on location, all the check in is remote, so I assume that the dish and utensil cleaning is left to the guests? Doesn't seem sanitized enough. There was also one slight issue, which is that the window that led to the fire escape was sealed shut - at least in our room - this is definitely a fire hazard!

Good location for the price, and very clean.

Our stay was good. The place inside was clean, check in was easy. I do want to mention (this is not really a reflection of Kasa’s.) But if you are staying here just now it’s a busy street and old building so there is lots of noise at night. We stayed 2 night and lost so much sleep. Also there was a bum sleeping in the entrance through all our stay blocking access in and out of the building.

It was very clean and pleasant to stay. We had to check in late due to a later flight and the key codes were easy to check in at whatever time with.

Space was accurate to listing. Great value for what the cost is. Very close to some very good bars.

Kasa is great location, quiet, clean, and a perfect place for a stay. I would highly recommend.

enjoyed the location. the TV was equipped logged in to Netflix which was nice. bathroom is small but it's an SF city apartment.

The place was perfect for the price point, convenience, cleanliness, easy check-in and mostly clear communication. The building in San Fran is a bit older so there was a lack of hot water for a night, but the host responded quickly and fixed it before we woke up the next morning. Other than that mishap, the place was great.

What a wonderful stay! Everything was easy to navigate and so clean. The location was great. We had to reschedule last minute due to snow in our hometown and they were more than happy to help us reschedule. Will definitely be staying with Kasa again!

My room was super cool and spacious. I loved the furniture and decor; the bed was cozy. The full kitchen located in the basement with free coffee was an added bonus. Other than the noise of stomping footsteps from the unit above me in the wee hours of the morning until the afternoon, I really enjoyed my stay.
