A large part of selecting this Airbnb was because of the parking availability; we did not feel safe with street parking. I was happy to pay an extra $18 a day, as this is not an extremely walkable location.
However, we arrived in the evening we were not able to find the access for this reserved parking. When I contacted the host, they first confirmed that we should have reserved parking, but would not be able to help us until the next day. The following morning, I got another message that actually our unit did not have a reserved parking spot, and we would be refunded for the extra fee. If I knew ahead of time that there was no reserved/covered parking available at this location, I would not have booked this Airbnb. We ended up finding a parking garage almost a mile away, so we walked to and from that garage every day. The host just recommended some street parking options.
I was unhappy with the dishonesty of this listing, and the inability of the host to deliver what was promised.
