10/10 Exceptional
Nice, quiet, great option for families, just bring some bean bag chairs or something.
The room was very modern, clean, and was well laid out. There was a bathroom connected to the king room and a second bathroom just outside the twin bedroom. Also had lots of closet space to put things away in so all your stuff isn’t laying out.
I also loved the view. It was only 7 floors up but was high enough to see up over parts of the city, but low enough to be able to people watch and not feel dizzy from a fear of heights.
Everything worked and all basic needs were provided for. Kcups were supplied and were actually pretty tasty! All pans, pots, and dishes that we needed were there as were pods for running the dishwasher and washing machine. We didn’t use the washing mashing or dryer but they were regular capacity.
There is a sky lounge with more comfortable seating on the 16th floor and other workspaces on the 17th floor which we also utilized, both of which were great when one or more of us wanted to get away for phone calls or reading quietly.
Tips: be prepared to be confused at how to get in at first. They send you and email with check in instructions, and be sure to read thru that BEFORE leaving on your trip. I didn’t and was so confused when we got there, but once I sat down and read all the info, everything made sense.
One thing I didn’t see in the instructions was that in order to get to the pool and lounges on the upper floors, you need the lanyard with the card, which is in the room. Thankfully Kasa’s staff was able to inform me of that over text.
Also, there is a quiet time from 9pm to 8am and it took a bit of research to figure out how loud we could be. Sounds like somewhere in the range of 80 to 85 decibels max is preferred, which is about the sound of a vacuum or louder coffee shop. So when we had family game night we had to be sure to keep the laughter down a bit, but give that also made it so our neighbors weren’t super loud either, we were fine with that.
Only complaints: beds were too firm for our liking but I can see some people probably wouldn’t be bothered with that. The shades were great for privacy but were only light filtering, so when the sun came up at 5:30 in the morning, some of us were regularly up with it. :( Bring an eye mask if that bothers you. And lastly the living room only had one couch that sat 3 people, no other super comfortable seating for others wanting to watch the tv. We stayed in for most of one day and watched movies because of air quality issues and one of us had to sit on the dining room chair which wasn’t so comfortable for a long period of time.
Overall, we would return as it was a great deal for a great price and was a great place to stay.
