I booked this property for a 2-week business trip but had to leave early after two serious privacy violations.
On Day 4 of my stay, while I was leading a 70-person Zoom meeting, a worker entered my locked unit without my consent. He told me Kasa had instructed him to come in to change an air filter. This was not an emergency, and I had received no notice. Two days later, despite assurances it would not happen again, I returned to find items left inside my unit — meaning another unannounced entry had occurred. My personal belongings, including my passport and electronics, were left exposed.
These repeated intrusions made me feel unsafe and disrupted my ability to use the property. I was forced to relocate mid-trip, costing me time, energy, and professional disruption.
