Kitchen had everything needed for eating in.

It was really nice. I booked it because I thought it came with the patio because of the pictures but the studio did not. It was kind of a disappointment because that was the whole reason for booking it. Other than that, it was in a great location. It was a little loud but if you like the downtown life it will be perfect.

Pros: Very nice to have a kitchen and laundry in your apartment. Conveniently located. Cons: You need a code to enter building and parking garage and parking is extra. There’s no housekeeping on a daily basis.

This place is a gem. We were stunned to walk into a corner apartment with floor to ceiling windows and views of the downtown skyline. The night view from our bedroom window was phenomenal. The amenities were plenty, the property was pristine, modern, and well secured. The units are a little older but decorated tastefully and minimally in mid century modern style. The communication with the virtual staff was instant and helpful. The check-in and out instructions were very clear. We will stay here again and again.

The property was very nice and in a great location (Chicago South Loop). The apartment was large, clean and comfortable. It has a very pleasant balcony and very good views, you also have access to a roof top terrace that has amazing views and a business centre on the ground floor. A drawback is that there is not a dedicated concierge and no place to leave luggage if you arrive early or plan to be in town for a few hours after checkout. That said, I would stay again.

Kasa South Loop Chicago was perfect for our stay. We were able to check-in without any problems. Our apartment was clean and had all the amenities needed for our stay. I slept on the fold out sofa, which was comfortable. The front desk personnel were friendly and answered any questions that I had. The location was perfect. Stores and public transportation, Target/Trader Joes and bus/subway were within a 10 minute walk. I highly recommend Kasa!

The location of this building in Chicago was great. We walked all around printers row, the parks on the lake, Soldiers Field, and the south loop area without needing a ride. The apartment was fine, it was simply void of personal touches. We are very used to renting from individuals on Airbnb, so this was a strange experience by comparison. This apartment is rented out by a company. So, the communication was often auto-generated, and they would send links as answers to my questions. To request a late checkout, we used a code to access our “virtual front desk” (outside of Airbnb), but the links to do so always led us back to where we began , creating a closed loop (of dissatisfaction and insanity lol). In the end, after much texting back and forth with Kasa, we never got permission to stay that extra hour, and they didn’t have a place for us to store our bag, so we lugged it around Chicago, and finally went to the airport early. I guess we just always prefer a personal human touch.

Really nice place. The only drawback was the nonexistent door to the bedroom. We would have liked that. Walking distance to Target and Whole Foods Market. And the best was the parking opportunity in the connecting parking house.

Room is clean. Would be better if they can leave some untensils.

This property was so amazing! Very clean, great communication from the host and an amazing and safe neighborhood. My partner and I walked to most of our tourist attractions and felt very safe! There are so many restaurants and cafe around to visit. Would highly recommend 10/10

Kasa clearly has not done any updates to the particular unit we stayed in. A closet door fell off its track and landed on my back (rather than on my child-directly below me). It took them over 24 hours to fix. The main bathroom's shower drain was vial to the point-if the door was left open the smell permeated throughout. That supposedly was fixed, only to return with no further addressing. There were loose floor boards all over and the area rug was not secured to the floor, resulting in a trip hazard (we kept a chair over to be safe). My simple request for washcloths was much too complicated as well. Just couldn't get it done. We ended up buying more. They couldn't even be bothered to verify that all issues had been addressed with their contractors as I was peppered with texts each day. But rest assured, I was consistently told (via that our safety and comfort were their top priority! Actions speak louder than words. We've used Airbnb 9 years and this by far was our worst host!

The stay at Kasa was close to perfect. You are located 2 minutes away from Target. A 30 minutes walk to soldier field, the lakeshore, or the bean. There are many dining options very close. The view from the room was amazing and the rooftop deck was even better! We have stayed here twice and hope to again. The bed was very comfortable as well.

We enjoyed our stay here. It was our second trip to Kasa and hopefully not our last. We LOVE the balcony and lake view. The rooftop deck is amazing as well. The neighborhood is safe and wonderful with lots to explore. Target is 2 minutes away. It is around a 30 minute walk to the lakefront, soldier field, or the bean. Perfect location!

While the place is clean, organized and fairly quiet for the location, the description and photos were significantly different from the real space. The photos showed a space with two armchairs, a couch and a bed. The reality - one armchair, NO COUCH, and a bed. I would not have paid the money if I knew I am getting this space. Fantastic downtown Chicago loft! This loft exceeded all expectations! The location in downtown Chicago was absolutely perfect - close to everything we wanted to see and do. The space was clean, comfortable, and exactly as described in the photos. Our host was responsive and made check-in/check-out a breeze. We had a wonderful stay and would definitely book again on our next trip to Chicago. Highly recommend!

Fantastic but not for a single person Likes: Cozy apartment in a great location. Dislikes: Everything was good, but It was not clear how to use the electronic keys. Understanding that this listing is expensive, it did not meet expectations. As a for instance, there was no coffee maker there, although they did offer coffee " tea" bags. Also, one corner of the carpet in the living room curled up by about 5 inches, creating a tripping hazard and suggesting that perhaps they should invest in a new carpet. There were a number of other issues which together cheapened the stay. None of the changes that they need to make are expensive, but the space needs someone to look at it with an eye for creating a space that matches the view. With these kinds of prices, you expect a luxury experience.

This place was perfect for a long weekend. My boyfriend and I visited Chicago for the Chicago Marathon and were easily able to walk to the start. Was close to lots of restaurants. View was great. Would recommend.
