The location is amazing, and my company put me here, so I didn't have a choice, but the walls in room 1607 are scuffed up with giant black marks, there were broken glass shards on the balcony, there was so much long black hair everywhere -- it's clear that the housekeeping staff does not care, and there were food crumbs in the kitchen -- another example of the housekeeping staff not caring. Do these hotel-type places just have no standards anymore? They're so lazy that they can't be bothered to vacuum. I called customer service, and they said that housekeeping costs an additional amount if you want it regularly, but they'd take care of the hair and crumbs in 24 hours whenever housekeeping came back on site. So yes, that's my experience with Kasa South Loop Chicago. I'll make sure I never stay here again. I nearly forgot to add, but there's also cat or dog hair in the carpets and my allergies are going crazy. This really isn't a good place to stay if you value a clean environment or if you're allergic to animals.
