10/10 Exceptional
Location was good, I felt safe. It was really nice having on-site parking. It was really nice having a target right next-door. This is basically not quite an Airbnb but something close. You have no on site personnel from Kasa, everything’s online. We had a beautiful view the building was built I think around 2004 and is fairly sound resistant but somethings did get through and sleeping Friday night when you’re not used, a big city was a little tough. The only thing I really really miss is black out curtains. There are only mini blinds and there are full length windows in the living area and the bedroom. There’s no daily maid service or anything you have the amount of towels you have -there were a few extra in the master closet. There’s also a washer and dryer. there were a few packs of dishwashing detergent, laundry detergent, soap, conditioner, etc. salt, pepper, olive oil. Coffee a little bit of creamer, sugar, caffeine, free tea, and regular black tea. Some pots and pans and spatula and measuring cups and stuff fairly basic but well done kitchen and a dishwasher!
I chose to make breakfast every morning and used the kitchen and it did great! The target next-door has a grocery section with anything you could want to buy. Full-size refrigerator with ice maker.
Tapwater doesn’t taste bad. Better than Indianapolis, better than Washington DC, much much better than Phoenix.
Clear instructions on check in check out, etc. Mattress wasn’t terrible. Loved having a little extra space. The person who thought it was decorated like the 70s clearly has not been to target in a decade or so. Lol! Everything was super modern and posh!
Overall, I definitely recommend the experience that I would definitely stay there again. We paid for parking at $22 a day I think but it was so nice to have on-site parking at the garage seemed safe. the instructions were easy and clear. The grounds of the place are manicured and really nice. The water pressure is excellent. We had no issues with really much of anything.
The only minor things in the apartment, were that the vent fan for the bathroom doesn’t seem to work and there’s a little bit of rust on the ceiling fixtures in the bathroom as a result, We just kept the door open after we showered, It did fine.
Nothing bad or disgusting or really any problems. Just make sure to look up your garage code before you pull up to the garage!!!
The elevators are nice and new, and so is the building. We had No real waiting for the elevators. There’s pretty limited space to get a dog to potty. They don’t like the dogs on their very limited very manicured spaces so be careful, especially if you have a dog that will only pee on grass.
I did not hear a lot of noises, people respected the quiet hours very well!
The only thing I really really would have liked are room darkening curtains. It got light around 5:30 in the morning and I didn’t want to wake up that early. They do have mini blinds for privacy, but they do absolutely nothing to block light or sound.
We had a lovely view just above the front door on the 13th floor where you could see the water from the balcony and a gorgeous view of downtown. Highly recommend the location as well. I was nervous I would not feel safe walking around but I did.
There is a front desk person who works for the condo association not Kasa, but they were always super nice on the few occasions I interacted with them briefly.
As others have noted, this is a condo and Kasa owns part of the 13th floor. If it bothers you please note they own a lot of the 13th floor and we were originally told we would have a 16th floor room and ended up with a 13th floor room. I personally do not care and I’m not afraid of the number 13, but if it bothers you just be aware of that in this building.
Overall, I absolutely loved my stay, and would return in a heartbeat!
