Good

Although the place itself was nice and was a great place to stay and work at, the windows were completely blocked by an advertisement, the place was incredibly dark and the view was fully obstructed which was not described in the description. I tried to switch rooms and had a few other issues and I only received robotic replies from support (I imagine you’ll see a similar robotic reply to this review). There was also an issue with an 1 of the elevators for the entire stay, so only 1 elevator for 12 floors of guests, not great! On one day I just decided to climb up myself cause it was too long to wait. They said they’d have it fixed in a day and it took 6. I’m disappointed, for the price I paid I expected better.

Overall a good stay

Really enjoyed my stay! Looking forward to staying again. The apartment was spacious and provided all the amenities I needed, and the location was central to LA. It was quiet around the property which was nice. Some homeless folks around as well, but otherwise safe. Parking in the garage is expensive so hope there is a discounted or partial rate remedied on that.

A disappointing customer experience with highly questionable pricing practices. Changing a reservation months in advance should be straightforward. Instead, we were bounced around for days with slow and inconsistent replies, only to end up being charged a $147 surcharge for simply shifting the dates slightly — even though the change had already been confirmed while the price was still the same. The explanation? A polished excuse of "dynamic pricing" to justify what honestly feels like aggressive overcharging. A night that was reasonably priced suddenly became more expensive than the entire original stay. And why? Because they delayed processing the request — and then charged us for their own inefficiency. We understand that prices can vary with demand. But this wasn’t a last-minute change. It was months in advance, and the confusion came entirely from their side. The result: a process that feels disorganized, opaque, and frankly, disrespectful to customers. Kasa, if you want people to recommend your service, you’ll need to do better than this. As it stands? That’s a hard no.

Great place to stay, exactly as described in the listing. Parking fee is pricey but worth it for the safety of your own car. Would stay here again.

Great place to start our trip in the West. Right in Hollywood we had easy access to a lot of great places. Can totally recommend.

Good location close to the main populair spots , clean interior and easy check-in! We had a broken airconditioning but got a different apartment. Our initial apartment had black tape over 80% of the windows and the second had a view on the other apartments so overall not what we had expected from the seeing the pictures on display on Airbnb so be aware of this before booking. Our check-out experience was not great as we we’re locked out from out luggage and only got a response after 2 hours, they are not reachable via phone.

This location is amazing, in the Heart of Hollywood and walkable from all sorts of restaurants and a real short Uber ride to anywhere. The bed was very comfortable and the AC was amazing. It was exactly what I wanted. You will love it.

Great apartment to spend a couple days in Hollywood Lot of space, great furnitures and even a 24h open gym. Nothing to complain!

First time at Kasa My stay at Kasa was much more than I expected. It felt like I was staying at my personal home. Everything was clean and spotless. The bed was comfortable.

Good deal, good location, very clean, very easy access and clear instructions and communication. One note- I have a moderate fear of heights, our suite was on the 11th floor which would have been ok for me, but there is a very slight vibration from (A/C? unsure) throughout the room that would have been fine & non-bothersome, if I wasn't also afraid of heights & my brain perceived it as a swaying effect. So if you have this, request a lower room!

Great stay in Hollywood Everything is really nice, the building, the room especially. But one thing I really liked was the security. There's a code to get into the premises. Then another code to get into the building and finally a code to get into your hotel room. Great views since I was on the 8th floor. Great overall experience.

SO GREAT!!! Best Kept Secret in L.A. (but it shouldn't be!) I have stayed at the Kasa on Sunset Blvd. in Hollywood, CA five times now, and hope to again in the future. The room has always been in immaculate condition upon arrival. While I was initially nervous about staying at a hotel without a front desk, I actually found it preferable-- with your check-in info and access codes being texted to your phone, there's no need to wait in line before you get to your room. The amenities Kasa includes make it all worthwhile: complimentary waters, cookies, dishes, skillets, cutlery to use, and a FULL SIZE fridge. They even provide olive oil for cooking!! TV has hundreds of channels, including plenty for kids to watch. The gated underground parking is an extra charge, but (in my opinion) is completely worth it, especially if you're coming back to the hotel alone or at night. Knowing you and your vehicle will be safe when arriving or leaving the hotel is a huge plus. Reaching someone on the Kasa customer service number has never been a problem day or night. Representatives always made sure our questions were answered. I also suggest booking direct through Kasa's website. Doing so had lower prices than any online booking site (Priceline, Travelocity, etc.)! My family has stayed at other hotels in the Hollywood / Silverlake area. Kasa outshines them all. HIGHLY recommended!!!

Very convenient for pets

Was an easy clean welll priced good experience overall. Didn't like how parking isn’t included in the price and only after starting to complete booking they throw a $50 a night parking fee. That’s absurd. Never heard back when contacting them about it. But if you don’t need anything from the host it’s perfect.

The view of Hollywood from our bedroom was beautiful. And it was a walking distance from the Hollywood walk of fame! The place was absolutely beautiful and the staff were helpful responses to any questions we had:)

Amazing place to stay out felt right at home my wife and I enjoyed the view and the layout of the studio will most likely stay here again!

The actual rooms are completely different from what was shown in the photos. There are multiple rooms here and you don’t know which one you gonna be assigned.

Great value and location for a family trip to LA Likes: Good size of apartment and location Dislikes: Dishwasher contents dirty on arrival. Fridge was noisy but easily rectified when turned down overnight.

Pretty nice hotel, unfortunately there was a huge Netflix ad on the building tinting the window and making the view dirty and the AC didn’t work but they did have 2 swap coolers, the swap coolers did help a lot but other than that it was a pretty nice stay
