The hotel is located on the lower six storeys of a beautiful Art Deco building in Financial District. This being lower M Likes: Our suite was enormous for Manhattan. The stereo with a record player, vinyl and book library are a nice touch. Dislikes: Nothing.

Happy staff team Likes: The staff were outstanding. Nothing was too much trouble for staff who ordered cabs and did everything they could to increase our enjoyment and advise us on e.g. shops and clothing for forecasted weather. I have never seen such a good team.

I cannot say enough good things about Mint House! I wasn't quite sure what to expect - but any expectations were quickly massively exceeded. We booked a two-bedroom apartment and it was HUGE by NYC standards! Immaculately clean, quiet and comfortable and great base for exploring the surrounding areas. Liberty is about 15 mins away, the ferry ports about 7, which was a wonderful way to travel up and down the city. The staff were exceptional - Alex and Ria on front desk had us in stitches every day and couldn't have been more helpful to two dozy old Brits arriving late and tired. They are a credit to the organisation. As a frequent visitor to the city, I will stay here again in a New York minute... an absolute gem of a find.

A NYC Unicorn You literally cannot beat the price, location or space that Mint House provides. We love staying in FIDI because our son lives there, but also it is one of the best kept secrets of Manhattan when it comes to nightlife, bar scene and restaurants. I have stayed at this location twice and both times in a Premium Studio Suite. It is literally the biggest bang for the buck you can get in NYC. Both times I stayed in a beautiful, HUGE, well appointed studio apartment complete with turntable, records, kitchenette, and ample closet space. It is a total NYC unicorn and just like that magical creature, it’s so awesome people doubt it really exists. But it does! Have stayed in a few hotels in FIDI and Mint House is hands down my go to and first choice from now on.

Comfortable, Quiet, and Great Value in a Perfect Location I had a great stay at Mint House. The location was ideal, close to everything but still quiet and peaceful. The atmosphere was modern, clean, and comfortable, and the space felt very well thought out. The amenities were a huge plus, especially the coworking area, which made it easy to be productive. Overall, it was an excellent price for the quality of the space and experience. A special thank you to the property host, Thanary, who was incredibly responsive and made everything seamless. I would absolutely stay here again and highly recommend it.

Nice hotel with big rooms. Only thing I dont like is that they dont have touch card to operate lift or open room. They gave us numeric code for this which i am not really fan of as half of time room doesnt open as I am putting it bit fast. Also it was bit noisy during my visit late night probabely due to construction work.

Bed bugs- not the welcoming I was expecting Location is great for downtown, building looked like a WeWork facility - not a bad thing, looked very clean, but we stayed 3 days and found bed bugs- left with just under a dozen bites on my legs, feet, arms and hands. I notified the front desk and he asked for photos. I’ll post them online.

I had some issues during the check-in at night, and I'm very glad that Alex handled the issue professionally and understandingly. I highly recommend the hotel for its great location and large room (a rare thing in Manhattan), but the help from Alex and the front desk team left a truly good impression.

Spacious and functional Super spacious, clean, modern apartment in beautiiful building. Stayed in 1 bedroom premium apartment on 3rd floor which was as described (2 bathrooms) - comfortable, well set up but not much natural light. Traffic noise (honking) at times but didn't prevent sleeping and unavoidable in Manhattan. Staff friendly. Queen size sofa bed was average - squeaky and not super comfortable for 2 kids aged 9 and 12 (although they slept fine). No apparent benefit in direct booking - they don't price match and didn't provide offered amenity. Can purchase good value breakfast voucher at Black Fox cafe in lobby for 1 meal and 1 beverage of choice (no set menu or value) when booking directly online (can't add after booking). Within 10min walk of multiple subway lines and 15mins to statue of liberty ferry. Would recommend for space and value although further uptown is more convenient for most tourist sites.
