Unfortunately, I had a very disappointing stay and would not return or recommend this hotel. The hotel felt very unsafe and I slept poorly throughout my week-long stay.
The hotel is located in a public building, without a front desk funnelling people who enter the building. There are no keycards, only access codes that are required to use the elevators and enter the rooms. The access code is the same for both, so if you’re in an elevator with another guest, they can see you punch in your code and would have access to your room.
Although very large, the room itself was not very functional. The bathroom had almost no counter space, limited storage behind the mirror, and no fan or window. The room also felt quite dark due to the small window and low-rise hotel floors. Insulation was poor throughout the building, so you constantly heard other guests and room doors slamming.
Service at the front desk was also lacking. I was told the fitness center opened at 7:00 a.m. on Saturday, but when I arrived it was closed. Staff suggested the employee responsible for opening it was simply late and told me to wait 30 minutes. After waiting, I checked online myself and found that the gym actually didn’t open until 8:00 a.m.
