Worthwhile Stay The staff was very nice and accommodating, and the room was very clean! It was a great stay. Would highly recommend anyone considering.

All the comforts and much more The Mint House in lower Manhattan is my favourite place to stay when I come to New York. Rooms and amenities are terrific, there are superb restaurants and a great bar in the building -- Crown Shy, Saga (2 stars) and Overstory on the 64th floor -- as well as a very good café. The rooms come with kitchenettes of various sizes and there is an excellent market right on the corner of the street making it easy to have meals or snacks in house if called for. Additionally there are good connections to subways in walking distance. I always look forward to returning here.

Perfect Weekend Staycation Our stay was very enjoyable overall! The staff went above and beyond to ensure we were comfortable and taken care of. Although there were a few minor hiccups during our visit, the team responded quickly and professionally, which made all the difference. Everyone we interacted with was friendly, attentive, and eager to help. The property itself was clean, welcoming, and conveniently located, and the customer service truly stood out. I especially appreciated how promptly management followed up and resolved the issue we encountered. That level of care shows a real commitment to guest satisfaction. The location (Financial District) was ideal for us: quietly situated in Manhattan, yet all the sights are easily accessible. There's a subway stop right across from the entrance, and we also got there easily from JFK. The apartment itself was spacious and comfortable. The kitchen was fully equipped, allowing us to occasionally cook for ourselves or enjoy a cozy breakfast. The sofa bed was comfortable and big enough for our two teenagers. Under the building, you'll find everything you need: a supermarket, a coffee shop with a delicious breakfast, and several restaurants. The service was excellent. Everything we requested, such as extra towels, was taken care of immediately. For our daughter's birthday, they even provided a large cake, ice cream, flowers, and American cookies. A special thanks to Thanary ('T') for the great tips and wonderful support during our stay. We would love to come back! Voor ons was de locatie ideaal (Financial District): rustig gelegen in Manhattan, maar toch zijn alle bezienswaardigheden heel vlot bereikbaar. Er is een metrohalte recht tegenover de ingang en ook vanaf JFK raakten we er zonder moeite. Het appartement zelf was ruim en comfortabel. De keuken was volledig uitgerust, waardoor we af en toe zelf konden koken of gezellig ontbijten. Het zetelbed was comfortabel en groot genoeg voor onze twee tieners. Onder het gebouw vind je alles wat je nodig hebt: een supermarkt, een koffiebar met heerlijk ontbijt en verschillende restaurants. De service was uitstekend. Alles wat we vroegen, zoals extra handdoeken, werd meteen geregeld. Voor de verjaardag van onze dochter werd zelfs gezorgd voor een grote taart, ijs, bloemen en American cookies. Een speciale dank aan Thanary ('T') voor de fijne tips en de geweldige ondersteuning tijdens ons verblijf. We komen heel graag nog eens terug!

Horrible service with no solutions The location makes this hotel incredibly challenging - a narrow, scaffolded street, with no ability to park at all. There are no attendants at the door, so checking in is virutally impossible as it was for us. Upon calling the general reservations line, we were forwarded, then disconnected from the front desk. When we called directly, the gentleman offered no solution to our ability to drop off our bags with someone and check in, saying "he was the only one there", on a Sunday evening at 7:00PM! We canceled our reservation, which he said did not exist in his records, but we were then charged on our credit card! This was one of the worst experiences in service we have had in a long time of constant travel. They had better get their act together in a city with many great offerings!!

The most comfortable bed in NYC! So much space, so clean and comfy, honestly the best nights sleep I've had in the city.

This was perfect. I’ve become a fan of FIDI after this visit. At access to all the subway lines — plenty of food options and great accommodations for every need.

We will be back! We were in town for a visit to our daughter who lives in FiDi. We selected Mint House due to the positive reviews and that it was dog friendly. Our room, a superior studio was perfect for us. With a king bed, full kitchen, dining room and couch and tv, it was so comfortable. The only thing that could be improved would be a desk. Our room faced Cedar Street and was super quiet. The staff could not have been friendlier, especially David. We will definitely stay there again when we are back in the area.

Everything about our stay was great, from the friendly helpful staff to clean comfy rooms, great location within walking distance to great restaurants!

Bathroom smelled like sewage. Despite the maintenance staff attempting to freshen up the room, the next day it still had the same smell.

This hotel was a little hard to find as it is hidden inside an office building. That use a six digit code for the elevator and room as opposed to a key card, which can get annoying if you can't remember the code. The room was spotless and much bigger than the usual rooms and a great bathroom. No cable provided and it's hard to stream because no streaming service provided. Still all in all a good stay.

Dislikes: wszędzie zapach odświeżaczy do powietrza , az oddychać nie można było , ani wywietrzyć bo okna się nie otwierały . Panie sprzątające notorycznie zapominały zostawiać czystych ręczników , za każdym razem trzeba było zgłaszać to recepcji , raz było już po północy jak sie zorientowaliśmy ,że nie ma ręczników , zgłoszenie do recepcji było -jednak nikt sie nie pojawił- wiec byliśmy pozbawieni ręczników , kody do windy - dramat . znalezienie wejścia w recepcji - brak czytelnych odznaczeń ze w tym budynku to jest.

I was visiting my daughter. This space was perfect for us to stay together with her dog as her place is too small. Lots of restaurants to choose from and very walkable.

Loved our stay at Mint House! It was super spacious!!! We had the deluxe 1 bedroom, which had a king bed and 2 sofa beds (which were very comfortable!) I would definitely stay again. the kitchen was very nice and had everything you needed. 2 bathrooms as well!

Likes: Comfortable and warm. The amount of space in the appartment was exceptional for nyc. Dislikes: The wind noise from the failing window seal on the main loving area was intrusive and kept us awake when the wind was high. It became background noise in the end but the knowledge that this was fixable or preventable if maintenance was kept up was disappointing

Great place to stay in FiDi!

Nice boutique hotel Beautiful boutique hotel. It was Halloween season and lots of pumpkin and fall decor everywhere. The building itself is pretty unique as well. Zaire at the front desk is awesome!

Staff was amazing, rooms modern, nicely furnished and spacious, great location close to multiple subway stops and great restaurants all around
