This was one of the worst stays I’ve ever had in NYC. After a long flight, all I wanted was to rest, but they put me in a room with a broken heater. I was literally woken up in the middle of the night because it was so cold. The room was also extremely noisy—they even provided a set of earplugs, which says a lot. Worse yet, the linens reeked of body odor from previous guests.
When I tried to contact the staff, there was no response, so I had to go down in person to request a room change. The new room was slightly better, but the heater was unbearably loud, and the shower temperature fluctuated constantly. When I texted the staff asking for some water, they told me to buy it from downstairs—despite paying $1,600 for four nights, they only provided two bottles on the first day.
The service was equally disappointing. The staff were unfriendly and even rude. The housekeeping staff swiped in after a single quick knock, saw me, and instead of apologizing, bluntly asked, “When are you leaving?” I said “soon,” and she just turned around and left without a word.
I would never recommend this place to anyone. It’s absolutely not worth the price—don’t expect any level of good service or basic courtesy here.
