The property is stunning - being Wall Street you probably expect that, but this was so beautiful, from the reception, the lifts and then the wow factor with the suite. We had a 1 bed, two bathroom, which is just simply stunning! Loads of space, great amenities. The area is in location for several tourist spots, but is a costly uber/cab to Times Square, so you may want to consider hop on/off buses or subway (scary at first, but fine once used to them!) For the price we paid, this was a bargain, especially as it was UN week and I would not hesitate to return

Good 2 night stay, excellent Manhattan location, good price, large apartment room, bathroom blah Likes: The room was exceptionally spacious and worthy of a longer stay - like an apartment. It had a full-sized kitchen with frig and stove, dining table and chairs, spacious counter with seating and everything needed for entertaining a small get together and for food preparation which other hotels don't have. The 30's art deco décor in the lobby was pretty cool and very nice and in great condition. The room was quiet and well furnished the furniture in good condition and the bed was comfortable. Room didn't have any bad odors. The room had large windows but only a view of the building under construction across the street. The carpeting in the room and exterior hallways was generally in good condition without much if any noticeable pathway wear. Everything in the room was operational and worked well. The Mint House location is excellent excellent excellent - easy to walk to everything from mid-to-lower Manhattan. The reception personnel were excellent and very responsive. Dislikes: Around the perimeters of the hallways on the room's floor and in the room itself were very dusty. It appears that vacuuming with a brush along these spaces is not being performed at all or not regularly. The stove's nice flat glass cooktop was not very clean as it was easy to see large skillet cooking oil remnants that should have been easy enough to clean off by the cleaning crew. Lastly, in the bathroom particularly around the shower the tile must have been installed by armatures as the grout was poorly installed and maintained, and the vanity mirrors at the bottom had cancer. Both bathroom issue just made the entire bathroom look like a 2 star hotel vs. what we expected.

Great location relatively quiet location just off the main streets in lower Manhattan. We enjoyed our stay in a very clean and spacious 1 bdr apt. King bed in large open living/kitchen/dining space. Full size fridge. Smaller bedroom with queen size bed. Modern relaxed decor. Sound system for streaming music. Easy walking to sights and transportation (subway entrance a block away) near Battery Park/Statue of Liberty ferry and NYSE. Check out Federal Hall. Citibikes stations readily available for riding on designated bike path along the Hudson river from Battery Park to Times Square.

Truly not a bad price AT ALL for the area, and there are several parking garages within reasonable walking distance. Might be cheaper if you book directly from their website vs. AirBnB. Things to note: 1. Only one bath towel was provided per person, with no extras readily available in the room (not a deal breaker, but good to know if you have longer hair and sensory issues) 2. A washer and dryer are NOT available within your unit, as listed in the description (I believe there's a laundry room with paid machines, never looked) 3. Difficult to find the proper entrance to the building, the signs for "Mint House" are very small/blend in with the interior walls and there were no obvious signs outside. I'm sure the front desk for the other apartments/hotel in the building get annoyed having to redirect all of the Mint House guests to the other side of the building. I will say, the room was just as it is in the pictures - mostly clean and very comfortable.

Check-in and check-out was wonderful, the front desk staff was so friendly, informative, and welcoming. The room was beautiful. Bathroom was beautiful. Everything was as described. Quiet and clean. We had a great stay and would definitely stay with Mint House again at any of their spots.

Mint house is a hidden gem in the financial district. From the exterior you would never know such a beautiful, luxurious and spacious residence exists inside. The suites are absolutely gorgeous and spacious, they curate the living spaces in such an intelligent way and give you everything your heart can desire. The front desk staff are friendly and give lots of recommendations when asked. It is so quiet within the rooms, everything is clean and spotless, tons of closet space and storage. Roomy and the decor is pristine and smartly designed! They add so many fine touches to your room and you can even shop your room decor! There is a Michelin Star restaurant on the first floor, 2 amazing cafes to get breakfast, tea and coffee, another restaurant on the basement level and it is a 2 minute walk to the train. Very convenient location. Pricey but well worth it with all that you get! If you’re flying in, they accommodate late check in which gave me a lot of peace of mind!

Beautiful!!!! First time staying at Mint House, and we will definitely be staying there again! Beautiful building and very easy to get around lower Manhattan, plus just across the street from access to the subway and Penn Station. The room was absolutely beautiful and sooo big and roomy, which says a lot when staying in Manhattan. Very clean room with extra towels provided, bathrobes, extra linen and blankets. We also had some boxed water provided in our room, with a personalized notecard welcoming us (super cute and sweet). It really felt like home away from home. There is a theater and golf simulator area but we didn’t get to enjoy that. My only complaint was being in NY for one only night and not getting to enjoy more time at the Mint.

This is our new preferred place to stay in NYC!! Perfect.

place is HUGE for a studio. feels more like a 2 bedroom condo. bed and sofa pullout bed were both very comfortable. front desk were very helpful when called down for a few extra towels and toilet paper they came up with it immediately. great restaurants nearby that are walkable. the coffee shop in the same building is also outstanding. I would highly recommend staying here. only bad thing is parking in that area is very tight

Best hotel stay in a long time! My family stayed at the Mint House recently and I wish we were in town longer than one night. The hotel far exceeded my expectations! The service was THE BEST! I truly feel the front desk went above and beyond to give us the best possible stay. The room was clean and large! The record player was a hit with my family. We found the location to be perfect for our stay! It was super easy to get around the city and not be in the crowded midtown area. I can’t recommend this hotel enough, and that is coming from someone that never leaves reviews.

For our last night in NYC, we opted for a Mint House apartments in FiDi, and despite rooms being stunningly designed and very spacious, we faced several disappointments. As we arrived relatively late for the check-in, we kindly asked for a late checkout (at last extra hour), which we were denied (understandable). When booking the room, we chose the Studio room option as it included kitchenette (importantly, a photo of a stove in Booking platform for this room time!). However, the room only included a sink and a microwave. When asking at reception why the photo of the room included stove for cooking, the response was ‘these are just generic photos’, which is misleading and quite frankly unfair to the guests. No option to change was offered. Lastly, seemingly great looking bathtub turned out to be dirty and had some hair in it. We had very high expectations of the place, however, for the price, you can find better facilities with much friendlier service in NYC. Would not be back, unfortunately.
