10/10 Exceptional
Overall, we had a great stay at the Mint House and would recommend it. We stayed on the 50th floor on the east aide. The rooms are spacious, clean and well appointed and have incredible views over downtown and the Dallas metropolitan area. The bar and restaurant on the 48th floor has a great selection of wines, cocktails and food and the service was outstanding.
On the negative side, but not deal breakers, the water in the bathroom took a VERY long time to get hot, the in-room electrical outlets did not charge our phones without the addition of a fast charger, there was quite a lot of noise from neighboring rooms and the streets below, and the mattresses were quite soft for our taste. We also had some issues where there were no humans on check-in (we were told there would be at the time we checked in), but the fallback was an automated check in at the room which worked fine.
