Mint House is worth a mint
This was a great place for us to stay over Christmas! The rooms are huge (even the bathroom!), with big windows in the living room that gave us a beautiful view of the city. It's a good central location to many stores, restaurants, bars etc. and easily accessible for Uber. Using a code to get in and out of the room, building and parking garage was very convenient and secure. Also, no losing your key that way. It was great to have a kitchen, with a dishwasher, stove, huge microwave, dishes and a big trash can. Not to mention the washer and dryer. Having a record player with old records was a little odd, though. But that's just an observation, not a complaint. The only drawbacks to the place were the really uncomfortable couch (I think it pulls out into a bed) and the TV, which has no local channels and seemed to be missing most of the basic cable channels, such as ESPN. They have a lot of channels, but not ones I've ever heard of. Also, sometimes the TV would freeze up (probably because it runs on the WiFi?). However, we had no trouble at all with the free WiFi when using our computers or phones. There was no desk or chair for my computer, but they brought one up when I mentioned it to them. They have GREAT customer service by phone, email and text. They also left me free extra water, iced tea and mints. The price for all this was very reasonable. We will definitely stay there again if we visit Dallas.
