Perfect Location
My partner and I stayed here for four nights and enjoyed it very much.
Before I get to the positives, some information for what to expect for prospective visitors:
1. There isn't a physical reception desk to check-in with (although the building itself has security on the ground floor). All correspondence is done via email. This is both a good and potentially inconvenient thing.
2. Getting to your room could be tricky (until you work it out). Essentially, the hotel sits within the Satander Building on levels 49 & 50. There are revolving and automatic doors on both Elm Street and Pacific Ave. Between certain times you need to use your access code to enter the building, and both entrances have a keypad for you to do this. Once you get inside, you need to use the bank of lifts for floor 48. Once you reach level 48, you need to change lifts to access levels 49 & 50 where you need to enter your access code to select your floor level. This same code is your room access code. As you can probably sense, keep your code handy, you'll need it!
In saying all that:
1. The views we had from our rooms were phenomenal. We would often find ourselves just gazing out the window!
2. The rooms are superbly well-appointed. We had functional kitchens where you could feasibly cook delicious meals.
3. The beds were super comfy and the bathroom was modern.
Hint: Book your uber drop-off and/or collection on the Pacific Ave side.
