I booked a corner room for my family of six directly through Mint House’s website, expecting a spacious setup with two kings, one queen, and a sofa bed. Booking directly was supposed to ensure a seamless experience—far from it. On the day of our stay, Mint House abruptly rebooked us into a standard room without any prior notice. This room, with only one king, one queen, one double, and a sofa bed, was not close to what we originally booked.
To make matters worse, the jack-and-jill bathroom was a complete design flaw. Only one door could be locked from inside, leaving the other unlocked, which was unacceptable for a multiple families needing privacy. This oversight, combined with the bait-and-switch room downgrade, ruined our experience. Booking directly with Mint House was supposed to guarantee reliability, but instead, it felt deceptive. I strongly urge Mint House to overhaul their booking and communication practices to avoid infuriating future guests. We deserved better.
