Positives: Nice phone staff and kindly on-site staff. Room clean and nice. Negatives: though touted as a 'premium experience,' the common hall carpets and walls were soiled. However, by far the most negative part of the experience was the online component to register, which was done only after I'd paid, or I'd have backed out of the page and booked somewhere else. We were required to scan an ID (which didnt work), followed by being asked to take a selfy of my face to further 'confirm my identity,' followed by a requirement for both of us guests to put up a $200 deposit for a one night stay based on the fact that our ID attempts were deemed insufficient (?)The access instructions given were for the wrong room, which a phone call did resolve. Our last communication from Mint was an early text on checkout notifying us that we'd be charged $150 if we failed to leave our key card lanyard. The experience felt rather mercen, clinical and cold and, frankly, outright paranoid. Finally, it would have been nice to be told in advance that there was no free parking. All in all, I'm not sure I'd book again considering all the hurdles, although the West End location was excellent.
