Mint House Greenville has a great location and the unit itself has a lot of potential, but our experience was defined by poor management and lack of responsiveness.
There is no on-site staff, and getting help is extremely difficult. Calling isn’t effective (long holds, no real answers), and communication is mostly handled via text with slow or delayed responses—especially when you actually need assistance.
During our stay, we ran into multiple issues:
--We paid for early check-in, but 2 of the 3 bedrooms were locked upon arrival. This was only resolved because a housekeeper happened to help us—we couldn’t reach anyone directly.
--One of the toilets stopped working after a single flush (not clogged). We reported it immediately but were told no one could come until the next morning, leaving us with one working toilet overnight.
--The next day, no timeline for maintenance was provided. By midday, we were told we’d need to switch units instead.
--After packing everything up, we waited about 45 minutes in the hallway for access to the new unit—while on a tight timeline for a wedding.
--In the new unit, a toilet brush tipped over and spilled dark brown water onto the floor, raising concerns about cleanliness.
Overall, while the space itself is nice, the lack of support and accountability made this a frustrating experience. If everything goes perfectly, you might enjoy your stay—but if anything goes wrong, don’t expect timely or reliable help.
UPDATE: After my original review, I was asked to follow up via email—which I did immediately. Eight days passed with no response.
UPDATE #2: I eventually called and waited on hold for 30 minutes, was told I’d get a callback, and finally spoke to someone over three weeks later. I was offered 20% off our stay, which I appreciate—but the delay only reinforces our negative experience.
