Great Location, Poor Service
My family stayed at the Mint House this past weekend for a wedding. Our group had several rooms rented for the entire wedding party, and our immediate family shared a three bedroom suite.
The issues started before we even got settled. We paid for early check-in and arrived to find our room wasn't ready. Not the welcome you expect when you've paid for that convenience.
From there it went further downhill. The master bathroom toilet wasn't working from the first night. We reported it immediately and were told it would be fixed first thing the next morning. After hours of follow-up with no response, we were eventually told no one could fix it and we'd need to move rooms entirely.
We were instructed to pack up all of our belongings and message when we were ready. We then stood in the hallway with four small children for 45 minutes waiting to be reassigned a room — no staff present, no communication, no urgency on their end.
Getting a real person on the phone was nearly impossible throughout. For a property at this price point, that's unacceptable.
If your stay goes smoothly, you'll probably enjoy it. But if anything goes wrong, don't expect much support. For that reason, I won't be returning and wouldn't recommend it.
