This place is not serious. We booked through a third-party platform that they themselves offer, but the check-in instructions were never sent to us. So the whole “self check-in” concept falls apart immediately, and because there is nobody onsite, you end up having to deal with everything over the phone.
The keypad to our room does not work, so the code that is supposed to open the door is useless. That means we need a smartphone every single time we want to access the room.
The gym and pool also require a key fob, but there was no fob in our unit. Again, because nobody is onsite, they could not simply provide us with one. We are already halfway through a weekend stay, and they just told me that having their onsite team solve the key-fob issue will take at least another 24 hours. We are only here for the weekend, hence, we will be gone in 24 hours.
This is supposed to be a modern aparthotel where everything is managed through technological solutions, but the system simply does not work. When the technology fails, there is no meaningful onsite support to compensate for it. Extremely frustrating experience.
Update: Additionally, the main gate also relies on a code. When we returned from dinner late at night, the keypad was completely unresponsive. Another resident was trying to get in at the same time and was having the exact same problem. Fortunately, someone who was already inside eventually let us in. Again, because there is nobody onsite and the technology repeatedly fails, the entire operation feels poorly managed and far less functional than the “smart” experience they advertise.
