I am sharing my full experience so future guests can make an informed decision.
I stayed at this property alone as a female traveler, and unfortunately, my experience raised serious safety and communication concerns.
During my stay, someone entered my unit without my knowledge or permission. I had clear indications that my space had been accessed while I was away, which immediately made me feel unsafe. When I reported this, there was a significant delay in response, and communication from the host was inconsistent and difficult to follow.
At times, I was even contacted outside of Airbnb, which is not appropriate—especially when dealing with a safety concern.
Eventually, their Trust & Safety team confirmed that someone from their local team had entered the unit for maintenance. However, I was never notified in advance. Regardless of the reason, entering a guest’s space without prior notice—especially when the guest is staying alone—is unacceptable.
