Really nice place, but very strange ambiance.
The hotel was clean and more spacious than I expected, which was a plus. However, I had an experience outside the elevator. A few individuals are in the hallway, directly infront of the elevator entrance, on what i would say looked like the most simplistic front desk area ive ever seen. It was just strange to walk past them—non-verbal and awkward—and it wasn’t clear if they worked there or were just hanging around. It gave off an unprofessional vibe.
I also had issues with the valet service. Despite paying for it, the process felt unorganized. My car was parked behind the last valet cone, which blocked traffic on a busy street closest to the back of the bars. When I retrieved my car, I had to move it quickly to avoid holding up vehicles. I was also given multiple valet cards, which added to the confusion. On the day of checkout, I asked to have my car brought up in advance due to an early flight. Although they said it would be handled, I still ended up waiting while the front desk staff tried to identify my vehicle—apparently stepping in for the valet after a certain hour. It wasn’t clear who was responsible for what, which made the experience feel disorganized. Of course, I had assist with confirming which key belonged to my car, because you guessed it, the front desk staff had no clue. He wasnt one the valets.
Room service is not provided daily, and there was no communication about that or any other service expectations. The hotel operates mostly on self-service unless it involves additional charges. Overall, the stay was fine, but the lack of clarity and professionalism in some areas made it frustrating. This review is mainly for travelers who prefer knowing what to expect.
