This hotel has the best location! If you are going to a Rays game, you should definitely stay here! The service was great. The room was great. The pool looked amazing, I am sad we didn’t go in. The only thing was we didn’t have any hot water and the ac didn’t go down below 73 until after 11pm.

Likes: Clean, new, lots of restaurants around, the staff is excellent Dislikes: Parking is difficult, first come, first serve along the streets. The facility and staff are excellent though.

Excellent stay! Squeaky clean, safe, and easy to access. Parked on the street right in front with no issues. Will be coming back!

The room I stayed in was basically a mini apartment with some appliances. It was nice having a full size refrigerator as well as a washer and dryer in the room. Also having the ability to cook meals in the room was an added convenience although I never made use of it. Large balcony for extra space and the TV was very large. The room served my purpose and didn’t cost an arm and a leg for what it offered. I was happy with my stay and I would return in the future.

We would stay at Mint House Again The property was well maintained and updated. The only issue we had was with the door lock and the TV. The door lock was difficult to use, but the staff came up and changed the batteries right away and it worked better. The TV did not work when we got there so I assumed it was the remote. Again, batteries were changed and all was well. Minor issues.

The unit itself is very nice and in a great location. Close to the baseball stadium, restaurants, bars, etc. Unfortunately the host left out the code for the door in the instructions so I wasn’t able to get in the unit the first night (booked at 10PM). I called Mint House and spoke to an off-site employee who said they would call me back but they didn’t. In the end I had to check in with the front desk. Also, the hotel charges $100 for a pet, which I didn’t see listed on posting. Seems like they need to optimize their operations for this Airbnb.

It was alright for a short stay but they have a lot of updating to do. Likes: It was a good distance from everything. Dislikes: The parking was absolutely terrible. You have to pay for parking on the phone. If you get there at 6 pm you have to pay the whole day until midnight and then pay again at midnight another whole day even if you are leaving at 8 am. The room was very comfortable although it looked like they were still under construction. The ceilings looked terrible and there was a big construction ladder right in front of our balcony room.

Weekend away Enjoyed staying at the mint! lots of great restaurants and nightlife within walking distance and the amenities made it very accommodating for our weekend.

Tropicana Field baseball Great location for Tropicana Field, however not a lot of dining options

The best location, Modern, clean, and ffordable Located in the trendy Edge district and right next to the Tropicana field. Very modern, clean and rooms have everything you need. Loved the balcony.

Perfect location The ultimate place to stay in a cool neighborhood, The Mint House was walkable to Tropicana Field, to breweries, to restaurants. The studio apartment was also incredibly comfortable and clean.

Nice building great staff and great for seeing Tampa Bay Ray games Likes: Nice facility and great staff. Dislikes: Could not figure out TV. My view from 2nd floor was ugly scaffolding and unsightly buildings.

The hotel does not offer parking. They recommend parking at 6 "close-by" parking lots. You have to pay to park at each of these, around $30 a day and they are a long walk from the hotel. This was not stated up front and we were unaware until we got there.

Great location in St Pete Rays Stadium Mint House was such a great deal and wonderful, walkable location. We stayed and walked to a local brewery and the Rays game!

Awesome Rooms! Amazing rooms with basically full kitchen and patio overlooking trop or downtown. Parking was a small issue as the valet was full so I had to park in random public overnight parking (Mint gave a sheet of all overnight parking lot, bunch of close options) but as long as you don't mind a small walk the room was awesome and the pool looked delightful even though I did not go in cause i ran out of time!

This property is awesome easy to walk to locations dining the ballpark. Lots of local shopping within walking distance. Great restaurants

2nd time there for my son and I……..WE LOVE IT Likes: Everything Dislikes: Just no parking…… But that’s not the hotels fault…..that’s just the city life.

Staff was very friendly with a very accommodating check-in and valet setup. The hallways were pretty warm but the rooms themselves were very comfortable and well appointed including full kitchens. My mother in law's room was in the 7th floor with a balcony view of Tropicana Field. She was absolutely smitten. My only negative comments are around the valet situation. When working towards checkout today, I asked if we could pack up our car and have valet hold it while we grabbed some brunch. They wanted to charge me for an additional $15 fee for this convenience and had no flexibility. I understand the reason for limited flexibility on late checkouts due to the need to turn over the rooms prior to check-in, but this is the first hotel I have stayed at where they were so inflexible around valet parking. At $35 per day, I think that they should be able to accommodate this simple request. I emailed Customer Service and was given excuses around their negotiated contract with the third party valet. If you're going to have a name like Mint House and tout an upscale and modern experience, maybe you negotiate better contracts to favor customer experience. It was a disappointing end to an otherwise very nice experience.

My stay was fantastic at Mint House!!! Great area with walking distance to restaurants, bars, ect...The apartment was very clean with complimentary bottles of water and extra towels and wash clothes if needed. Will stay again!!

Nice and clean please

No Parking For You! The accommodations themselves are very nice, very clean. The issue with the establishment is that there is zero self-parking spaces available on site. Valet parking was available according to staff at $35.00 per day although the outside sign indicated valet cost was either $15.00 or $25.00; not sure why the cost differences. Unfortunately for us, the valet parking was not available to us regardless of cost because of inclement weather. Lot parking is available at a few offsite locations at an additional cost that requires the use of an App which was not easy to use. Having to walk several blocks to and from our vehicle was not pleasant. For the expensive cost of the room, parking should be complementary even if it is offsite. To not disclose this issue and then require tired guests to deal with a poorly designed App to self park several blocks away was unacceptable. Thankfully, one porter assisted my husband with the App to get a spot within a 6 minute walk to the hotel. Will not be back because of this one issue.

Worthwhile place to stay, great value, beautiful clean facilities. Likes: Loved the room, everything was updated and clean, lobby and all other facilities we visited were great as well. It’s close to everything St. Pete has to offer which is also a plus. Dislikes: The parking situation is just super unfortunate… They had no valet when we went so we had to use one of the parkkng lots nearby. Most of them expire in the middle of the night which is irritating and they were also kinda shady. The closest parking lot is a 3 minute walk, so at least it wasn’t too bad. Unless something about the parking changes I think we’d consider somewhere else for our next stay, despite all the positives.

Only down side was the hurricane Debbie and the lack of parking. Apartment was great. St. Petersburg is fantastic.

Would stay here again! Likes: The room was fully stocked with everything you may need during your stay. It was also very clean. Dislikes: The mattress had a divot on one side. No parking unless you go off property.

Likes: I was going to see the Cincinnati Reds play the Tampa Bay Rays and the location was perfect. It was extremely close to Tropicana Field--about a 5-8 minute walk. If you are doing your own cooking, Publix is about 3 blocks away. Also there are plenty of eateries in the area. Dislikes: If I was to criticize anything it would be nice to have a vending machine with snacks near the elevator for a late night snack.

Great location for a last minute baseball game. On site staff was super friendly. They even offer to stock the refrigerator if you want to purchase groceries in advance. I loved how easy it was to digitally register, check in, and use valet services.

Great stay! This was in walking distance of everywhere we wanted to be and I loved having a balcony. Ice maker was s
