Pros: - Modern room (not the classic US carpet floor. - Big room for the price - Location is next to a hip street with lots of nice Cafés, Restaurants, shops and Bars with a very lifely scene. The surrounding quarter seems very peacful and stuff is going on. - Laundry in the room possible, they even provide capsules for the machine. Cons - Parking lot situation. Only valet (which costs) available. Not very US-like ;-). There is nearby (2 blocks) parking for 15$ per 24h available and the staff is helping to find it. - No "real" room service. But it's an apartment so that's fine. Would recommend anytime again. The cons are not weighted that heavy.

Great location, clean unit, helpful staff. We enjoyed our brief stay at the Mint House St. Petersburg. It's in a good location close to restaurants and very walkable. The unit was nice and clean just like the photos. The only downside is the parking isn't ideal. We paid $12.50 per day for a surface lot down the street (not associated with Mint House). Was a little uneasy leaving it overnight, but it got the job done and we didn't have any issues. The front desk staff was helpful in talking us through our options. Overall, I would happily stay here again.

4 Stars Because of the Awful Parking Situation! Otherwise, a 5-Star Stay! We enjoyed our last minute, one night stay at Mint. The hotel is new and still has the most important new hotel perk - cleanliness! I was comfortable laying my body on the bed. The in-unit washer/dryer was also a wonderful perk! Our check-in was on the late side (after 9pm), but the two ladies at the desk were absolutely pleasant and welcoming. As other reviews have indicated, the parking options are simply awful. After circling around the hotel for several minutes, we were lucky to find off-street parking in front of the hotel. We had to wake up earlier than we wanted to move our vehicle or risk being ticketed in the morning by St. Pete's parking and enforcement. Our check-out process was just as great as our check-in - friendly and professional. We would stay at Mint again, but would consider using a ride-share service to get there.

If you’re not going to watch any TV at night besides subscriptions and streaming services, everything else is great. Hou Likes: The staff, the location, the actual unit with balcony- all excellent Dislikes: TV seemed to only have streaming services such as YouTube, Netflix, we could not find any regular news stations such as NBC, CBS, ABC, or Fox really wanted to watch the ball drop on New Year’s Eve around the world. The news station they had were not current news stations.

We roadtripped through Florida for 3 weeks and this is THE best accomodation we had, even compared against others which were considerably more expensive! :) The building must be very new and therefore offers a lot of modern amenities in the rooms (touch-sensitive devices etc., even in-room laundry machine and dryer if you need that). The apartments are spacious and let lots of natural light. We slept like babies because the bed is awesome. Attention to details is given. The pool area is neat and we used it on Jan 1st to get some sun. :) The staff was very friendly and helpful too. They even helped us fighting a parking ticket. Next time in St. Pete, we will come back!

We loved our stay at the Mint House except for the parking. There is no information about parking in the confirmation email or online. We parked for a few minutes to go inside and ask about parking, we waited in line for 5-10 minutes and by the time we got back outside, we had a parking ticket violation ( Ugh). We attempted to pay pre paid parking and it did not go through but our card was charged and when talking to the staff about it, it was assumed that the parking garage was full, but nothing for sure. Please make sure you plan for parking ahead of time.
