this was an exhausting and disappointing stay. I would not recommend this hotel to anyone
Likes: Location is close to public transportation and sights
Dislikes: From the moment we arrived, there were problems. We were unexpectedly required to pay a damage deposit that had never been mentioned during the booking process, which was an unpleasant surprise.
The biggest issue was the constant noise. There was noise all day and all night from the courtyard outside, where people appeared to be screaming, arguing, and causing disturbances at all hours. On top of that, there was continuous noise from the hotel's external utility equipment, including an annoying high-pitched whistling sound that never seemed to stop.
When we entered the room, there were earplugs waiting on the nightstand. At first I thought it was a thoughtful touch, but after spending four nights listening to the nonstop noise, it felt more like a warning. It gave the impression that the hotel was already aware of the noise problems and expected guests to simply wear earplugs rather than address the underlying issues.
The room itself offered little relief. The air conditioning was incredibly loud, sounding like someone had started a semi-truck engine right next to the bed every time it turned on. Getting a decent night's sleep was impossible. Four nights at the hotel meant four sleepless nights.
As if that wasn't enough, trash collection started around 4:00 a.m., adding yet another source of noise before sunrise.
Privacy was also a major concern. Unless every blind was completely closed, people could easily see into the room from multiple directions, making it feel exposed and uncomfortable.
What made the experience even more frustrating was the complete lack of customer service. Despite multiple complaints, the manager was never available, never responded, and apparently wasn't even reachable by the front desk staff. The front desk employees seemed completely uninterested in addressing our concerns and acted as though the constant complaints were simply something guests had to accept.
