Me and my friends needed to stay close to the Convention center and this place was perfect for us. The description matched real life. The view from the rooftop is amazing and the pool is nice to have in a sunny day.

When I come back into town , definitely will be booking with kasa again

Cool hotel with reasonable rates, good location, invisible staff. Likes: I loved the large suite upgrade I was offered. Very spacious. Cool old building. Nice bath and separate shower in this suite. Amazing city view. Room access was straightforward. Virtual staff were not needed, as I had no issues. Dislikes: No breakfast option at 7am. Walked to IHOP in 15 minutes, though.

Overall a good place to stay. Will be coming back in near future :)

Super creepy registration process, to book requires 1. Uploading government identification (how long until this data gets leaked form their database? TBD) 2. Take real time picture of face from not one, not two, but THREE different angles 3. Submit credit card 2x, second time for ambiguous "damage coverage." The registration process for this place is pure YIKES.

Is it urban style or just dirty? The room had a lot of stains, it looked gross. Housekeeping was not very reliable, they skipped some random days, stocking up tea or towels seemed to be up to their mood. Positive: pool, location (if you like DTLA as much as I do)

Nous avons adoré notre séjour dans ce quartier de Los Angeles Likes: Nous avons adoré le quartier avec mon copain, nous n’avons pas voulu nous fier aux commentaires parlant du fait que le quartier ne soit pas safe et nous avons eut raison mais effectivement malheureusement il y a pas beaucoup de sdf dans les rues à Los Angeles , mais malgré ce détail nous nous sommes pas pour autant senti en danger à Los Angeles et dans ce quartier ( après je précise que je suis une femme et que je suis parti avec un homme) Le check-in s’est fait hyper rapidement sans avoir besoin que qui que ce soit avec des instructions par message et c’est un point positif surtout lorsque nous avons un vol avec une arrivée assez d’ailleurs la personne qui s’est occupée de nous a été très réactif donc merci à elle. L’hôtel est vraiment bien placé ( moins de 15 minutes) pas très loin du métro qui vous emmènera dans tous les lieux touristiques de Los Angeles ( Hollywood, Santa Monica, Universal Studio etc..), avec des nombreux fastfoods, restaurants et supermarchés à quelques minutes seulement. Dernier point nous avons adoré la décoration de la chambre et l’architecture de l’hôtel est vraiment superbe surtout quand nous sommes sur le rooftop. Dislikes: Nous avons été déçus par la piscine qui était très petite, d’après les photos nous nous attendions à une piscine beaucoup plus grande d’après les photos disponibles, sachez qu’il est impossible d’y nager car elle est très peu profonde ( 3 foot)

Buen lugar para hospedarse, Zona cercana a puntos de interés, es cómodo, limpio y como anfitriones siempre estuvieron atentos.

Came to LA to see my favorite punk band's last show @ the Belasco. Initially booked another hotel, but due to my flight being canceled because the plane couldn't take off, the 1st hotel re-sell my room & because there was a K-Pop concert (wasn't my punk band...I SWEAR! Lol) they were sold out. That's how I booked STILE instead. I love their location (1 block away from Belasco) & next to a taco place that opens late (maybe even 24 hours). As someone that's from "the city that never sleeps", I appreciate that. The staff were super helpful. Especially dealing w/ someone that didn't book this hotel to begin with & had just booked it 5 minutes prior. Thanks, guys! My only complaint, and it's a big one, is the layout of the room. Why is the toilet so far away from the shower? It's across the room. It's so weird. But it doesn't really matter. I only spent like 6-7 hours in the room. Overall, if I ever come to this area of LA again, I'd definitely book them again. Yes, even though their toilet + shower layout is funky.

Kasa is in what was the old ACE Dtla. It’s the same rooms at a fraction of the cost with everything you need. I was very happy with it for my long stay.

stayed here for 2 & a half weeks because i was in between leases and it was amazing! clean and cozy. rooftop pool was great & staff was incredibly nice! 10/10 for my long term stay!

Excellent place to stay downtown Ive stayed a few times and this is the most comfortable, time-efficient and nicest place to stay and far and away the best value for money. Its self-service checkin and checkout but theres plenty of staff to help. Good amenities. Comfortable bed. Rooms are oddly arranged but that is part of the appeal.

It was my first time staying here. I appreciated the attendants being on guard to opening the door for the residents and even though cleaning rooms daily is not apart of their advertisement, I appreciate when I extended my stay they made cleaning the room a priority! I remember when this location was the ACE hotel, however I am exceptionally pleased it is now STILE by Kasa! Thank you!

Overall the hotel was an incredible price for a 5 night stay in downtown LA. I really only needed the room to sleep and shower so it did it's purpose and the room was nice but the place had it's quirks. First, while I had my air conditioner set to 69 upon entering the whole trip the AC would not go below 74. Second, when requesting how I could get more washcloths and towels I was directed to a closet on the 2nd floor which was never fully stocked. Third, while the location is very central (I mainly booked this hotel because I had an event to attend at the Belasco which was a 4 minute walk away) the area is not very safe. On the plus side the king size room was ample size, the shower products were very nice, and their cafe downstairs was lovely! I was able to go explore to Santa Monica, Beachwood, and Anaheim within about an hours time from the location of the hotel which was great!

Let me start with the good ones: Some of the staff are incredibly friendly! That’s what makes me not give them bad rating. Our shower was clogged and the person came the next morning to fix it immediately. The gym, the washing machine, the pool and the cafe are good to have. Price is definitely the lowest when compared to airbnbs in LA There’s food nearby and the theaters seem great to visit. The bad things to consider: The homeless and safety. It’s just absurd. We felt trapped and unsafe. No safe parking. You’ll need to download spot hero and find a covered parking area. We went to hope + flower. There is no microwave. We were threatened by a lady named Anne to leave the room immediately because we checked out 20 mins late while we finished our packing. Maybe they have many visitors who try to stay there forever but I just thought that wasn’t the way to handle things.

Stayed for a week. Overall cool experience and decently priced for the area and being LA. Took a few days for IT to fix my tv but was worth it!

I love the the set-up of the bathroom and bed.

I've been to LA a bunch of times and this seems like one of the better options to stay in if you want a hotel-like experience but at the same time you want that independency of checking in and out by yourself. Airbnb ad was up to expectation and KASA's customer attention was on point, it was a pleasant experience.

Was shocked by the room. It looked like a work in progress room. Horrible

This is easily $300 a night in NY. So, great value!

The Stile is really excellent value IMO. Everything you need. Everything works. Staff is friendly. Great price. Will be back.

I recently stayed at this hotel and would rate my experience 3.5 out of 5 stars. The room was fine, but there were a few issues. Upon entering, I noticed a strange smell that was off-putting. The room itself was clean, with a comfortable bed and standard amenities like a desk, TV, coffee maker, and fridge. The main issue was with the bathroom; both the bathtub and sinks had trouble draining, leading to standing water. We put in a maintenance request, and while the staff responded quickly and fixed the issue, it was an inconvenience.

My guest and I were really impressed with the turnover of this hotel formerly known as The Ace. Great digital communication, instructions, friendly staff, and all was as listed. We had some hiccups with room service yet management quickly assisted and made sure we ended our trip well. Have already booked another stay.

Good place to stay in Downtown LA. Restaurants and public transport were easy to reach. The hotel is in a lovely old buildings bit has been done up very nicely. Staff are friendly and room was great.

Absolutely loved this Hotel. Staff were so kind and accommodating. Room was big and bed was so comfy. Love the access to the room with a key on the phone. Would definitely stay here again.

Great location in DTLA

The place was very clean and the room was pretty big overall. Service was great. Only struggle was parking but the hotel itself was perfect. Will be coming back
