Beautiful historic hotel, great location but either short staffed or unqualified staff.
Likes: This is a beautiful historic building with industrial room designs. The studio is very spacious with an awesome bathroom.
Dislikes: I reserved a Premier room with terrace through Booking.com but when we arrived in our room there was no terrace. We were told to wait in the room while they looked up our reservation. I called back after 20 minutes and was told there were no rooms available with terrace, however they did upgrade us to a studio. We moved into our new room, without further ado. I found a piece of jewelery in the room and set it aside and later found a pair of sunglasses... I started to wonder how clean the room could be if someone overlooked these two items... The next morning I brought the two items to the front desk, they offered us breakfast at the Coffeebar to make up for the cleaning error. One of the two lifts was out of order during our stay two-night stay. We went to the rooftop and discovered what would have been a perfect place to have a drink, however it was closed and there was no sign saying when or if it was going to be reopened. Each mistake that was made, was corrected, however the upgrade and the breakfast couldn't make up for the feeling that this beautiful hotel, didn't have a "captain at the helm". The interaction with a receptionist when you check in and receive your key... was missing. The person that you call from your room for help is in a call center, not at the front desk. Even the Coffeebar was missing staff, after searching around for a clean table we had to settle for a dirty one, which I tidied off myself.
