The room (I reserved) was small and very practical, had everything I needed and I am very pleased with my stay. For sure coming back just because I loved it!

Very nice stay at this super trendy DTLA hotel. We stayed here because we had tickets to a show in the theater that is part of the hotel building. Terrific service from check in to check out. The roof top bar has a stunning view of the city and the drinks are delicious.

Lovely stay... you can hear some of the street noise, but overall a comfy stay. I enjoyed their personal branding when it came to the towels and bathroom toiletries (which you can also buy in their lobby). The bathrobes were a nice touch as well. Aesthetically, if you're into the urban/industrial feel with that hipster kick, this is the hotel for you. Would stay here again!

Beautiful rooftop bar with great views of LA . Nice restaurant downstairs , I had a great dinner, great decco atmosphere and a great concert venue, I saw Ryuichi Sakamoto there. Awesome. There's also a dance floor. Super cool place

Pow, POW. Stellar views, even if you're looking st the gorgeous art decor Edison Clock. It was my first time. The house whiskey and beer are the way to go.
Though it slips my mind, our waitress was nice enough to keep her services up with us. We moved into the heater area shortly afterwards. I highly recommend it.

Great stay here at the Ace. The staff are all super friendly and the rooms are super cool. Very nice coffee bar too in the lobby. Highly recommend this sport if you're hoping to stay in downtown LA.

If you don't mind old......Not sure how they recieved 4 stars. Was not happy with service from manager. Plenty of newer and nicer hotels nearby specializing in customer service and satisfaction.

Love to have drinks, small plates and a quick rooftop pool dip on a warm winter, spring, summer or fall day!
The theatre is it’s own animal! It’s gorgeous, large yet intimate!

The hotel and building itself are very unique and quaint. However, the service was seriously lacking during my stay. Our reservation was made two months before our stay. We arrived three hours after our check in time expecting to comfortably go up to our room. Instead we were met with “sorry we don’t have any rooms available right now” We were then offered a queen instead of the king that we had initially paid for. This is not acceptable service for the price paid. After a bit of back and forth they were finally able to find us a room. If you are looking to stay in downtown LA there are plenty of other hotels at the same price point that I would look at before the Ace Hotel
UPDATE: I was contacted and compensated for the issue. The manager was understanding and sympathetic to my situation.
