It looks really old but has lots of charm. I only went to the theater and it was nice but the stage was mediocre.

One of my favorite LA hotels. Beautiful revamp of a historic LA building, nice room, great roof top bar, in the middle of ton of stuff and hip crowd. DT LA downtown so if your looking for squeaky clean American suburbia this not the area for you. Highly recommend packing a pair of earplugs. Can’t wait to stay again!

Nice location. Taco stand next door is amazing and 24 hours. A/c works good. Not sure if I like the bed. Shower is a little confusing on how to control water temperature. Watch your credit card closely they charged me twice!!!

I love the designer feel and industrial look. Rooms were smaller than I thought however and sparse. But overall the bed was comfortable and the rooftop view is amazing. I felt cozy and clean!

The interior of the theater is like something I've never seen. I was immediately transported to Old Hollywood if the late 20s. Would love to see another show there again

The rooftop bar and pool area are great, the lobby interesting, the rooms prison like. There's modern and innovative and then there's drab and dreary, these rooms where the later, not sure if they were on a budget or going for this look

To be clear: I attended the regent concert venue and the upstairs bar. I enjoyed the atmosphere of the upstairs bar and I really enjoyed the venue. What an outstandingly beautiful building.

I've been to this venue twice, for totally different kinds of events (film screening and concert), and each time has been fantastic! Thus far it seems to me like they really vet the event organizers to ensure they represent the hotel well rather than just renting out the place to anyone with a check in hand. Went to a book release event for David Lynch's "Room to Dream." The theater was amazing. I ordered an espresso from the coffee bar before the show. It was decent, but not amazing. I'd definitely see another show here, but I'd get a cappuccino instead.

The most gorgeous theatre is here. It was built by United Artists - Mary Pickford, Douglas Fairbanks, Charlie Chaplin, etc. in the 1920s -- 2 balconies, all stunning, and a great restaurant and coffee bar downstairs too.
