Maybe we were not the right clientele for this place.. Maybe our room was just a bad example.. And maybe my standards of what I expect from a 300$ hotel room are exaggerated - but we were very underwhelmed by our medium room on Floor 9. To me, it seems as if this hotel has not understood the concept of spaces. Our room did not have an actual bathroom, but half the room was a sort of open plan bath area, with no walls, a toilet isolated behind a massive, 4 inch fire safety door that was hard to open or close and no privacy in sight, even the walls were made of glass. Aside from this dedicated bathroom space missing, the room featured a bed that was continuously set between a desk and the wall with the TV mounted on half-height at the food end. Because there was no other dedicated seating space for 2 people, watching TV only was possible from way too close to the screen and sat half-comfortably on the pillows that formed the headboard. If to this description of a room insensitive to spaces you add cheap 2-ply toilet paper and no real solution for bins with bags, then you have maybe an idea of where we expected more from this place. Honorable mentions - great views from the rooftop bar "Upstairs". and a great location close to most night places anyone would find interesting.
