Steph’s Best: Travel Edition!
Modern-industrial (and a little bit funky) in the old ACE bldg (historic-cultural monument ~ #GOODART + architecture) on BROADWAY-FASHION DISTRICT-DTLA. Booking through KASA requires a little more self-service than traditional hotels, but guest services are very responsive to needs, and staff was sincerely kind throughout stay (shoutout to AARON & IZZY holding down the lobby). On-brand to “stay by your own rules.”
ROOMS - Jack & Jill bathroom, cushy pillows, blackout curtains, a bedside sound machine, pour-over Vietnamese coffee & signature K-BEAUTY bath products!
AMENITIES - A very well-equipped gym with cardio (treads, rower, Peloton), free weights, bands & bars - excellent for 1:1! Fully-stocked GOODIE SHOP + on-site laundry with electronic pay. ROOFTOP POOL has a PRIMO view of DTLA!!!
FOOD - BASQUIAT & rose-colored banquettes in a cozy wood-paneled bi-level cafe/bar at SPARKHOUSE
