It’s…okay. Rooms are no-frills, cross between an Airbnb and a hotel. An Airbnb in the way that every single piece of furniture is either IKEA or Amazon, and the community spaces are pretty bare bones. My kitchen, for example, in a queen with city view room, for example, had as far as dishes : two (2) drinking glasses, that’s it. The concept of bowls, plates, silverware, cooking utensils was pretty lost on this “kitchen,” unclear what I’m supposed to wash in the…dishwasher. Maybe someone forgot to stock it? Part of a fixture in the bathroom randomly fell from the ceiling at one point, carrying bits of drywall onto the floor and my stuff. Not a dealbreaker but…a little concerning. The “maybe they forgot” vibe carries over to the staff at this property but I will say there’s a huge difference between day and night. The latter being pretty checked out mentally when you engage with a question, but the daytime staff was the opposite and friendly and actually helpful.
It’s a clever business model, to take over apartments/multifamily units, increase the turnover bringing a maximum utility/spend per square foot but other than the price point this location greatly underperforms in their alleged category of “hotel,” 4 star at that.
