I missed the 14-day period to write a review in airbnb, so I am reviewing here instead. I really enjoyed my stay at the Clyde hotel. Loved the lounge area and made a lot of use of it. The best part of this place is the location..steps away from a movie theater and the powell's ❤️❤️ the room (the standard queen) itself was alright, I did not like the "open shower" right next to the bed (I don't think it should cost a lot to close off the bathroom/shower, tbh) and my room faced another building, so I had to keep the shades drawn. But I had zero noise-related issues at night (I didn't hear people in the street...and despite being a light sleeper, I slept quite well).
I actually really enjoyed the keyless entry to the rooms and the choice of communicating via the app/website. And I also really appreciated the option of requesting for the room to be cleaned, instead of it being offered automatically daily. Overall, I loved my stay and I'll remember my time at the Clyde hotel fondly...and if I go back to Portland, I'll definitely stay here again.
