Every person we met who works in the hotel were kind and competent, but I have a negative view of Kasa as a company.
This was our first time with a kid (3yrs) in any multi-unit living situation, so there was a learning curve about moving/speaking quietly on the uncovered, wooden floors and high ceilings. The quiet hours and rules weren’t noted till after check-in.
Despite our efforts, our daughter ran around in the room, like young kids often do and we got a noise complaint. I got a call the next day from a faceless Kasa employee in Florida about it, informing me we’d be kicked out of our room without a refund, and permanently banned from all Kasa listings upon a second complaint. It made for an uncomfortable rest of the trip.
I get that kid/noise is annoying to some people, but the threat felt extreme and I didn’t feel like I was given proper warning. Why allow kids that young if noise is such an issue? Why not put down rugs? Fine for traveling adults with low needs, don’t bring kids.
