The Clyde is a wonderful hotel!! In the heart of downtown Portland, 1900s charm, modern amenities, and super friendly staff. We stayed 3 days, the room had everything we needed including a super comfortable king sized bed, soft pillows, big shower and it was quiet for being in a busy neighborhood. We were steps from Powell’s Books, McMennamin’s bars, and tons of other fun spots. They gave us two $5 tokens to spend on coffee/tea at the cafe next door. Check in was a breeze, rooms all have door codes vs hotel keys, internet worked throughout the hotel, and there was a neat hangout area on the 2nd floor. We paid about $120/night, which is quite reasonable for the location and amenities. Dog friendly, too! For overnight parking, we stayed at Brewery Blocks parking and paid via Spot Hero app, it was less than a 5 min walk from the hotel. I highly recommend The Clyde and will definitely stay here next time we visit Portland!!
