The location was probably the biggest downside of my stay. The hotel is in downtown, and the area felt quite unsafe, with a lot of homeless people around. If you stay here, I highly recommend being careful with your car and valuables. While I was there, several cars had their windows smashed, including mine. I saw around 3–4 cars that were broken into in the area.
It was also very difficult to find a good and secure parking garage nearby. The security staff at the hotel were not very friendly or helpful, and they were not able to give us much useful information or assistance.
The room itself was okay overall. Everything worked fine, but there was a slight musty smell. Considering the price, I can understand that it may not be perfect.
However, I was also disappointed by the additional fees. When I booked, the price was shown as around $70, but after booking, I had to complete online check-in and pay an additional $20 damage protection fee. In the end, I paid around $100 total, which felt quite expensive considering the overall experience.
Overall, this was a disappointing stay for me. The safety concerns, difficulty finding secure parking, unhelpful security staff, and unexpected additional fee made the experience much less enjoyable than I expected.
