Love love love the Clyde! Love the aesthetics, love the VERY comfy bed, high ceiling, spacious bathroom, and the big sliding wooden blackout panel in place of drapes is an excellent touch. Friendly and helpful staff. Also appreciate the promotion with the ramen place across the street and the coffee shop discounts. Very comfortable common spaces too. Just feels super welcoming.AND it's right around the corner from Powell's City of Books!

This is a charming hotel conveniently located right in the middle of the city. Everything was great - the rooms were clean and nice, the staff was friendly and helpful, and the location was very convenient. There were also lots of little perks, like a fabulous coffee shop attached to the hotel (and tokens for $5 off for each hotel guest), and a cozy nook with games and a cabinet full of secrets… I highly recommend this excellent hotel!

Really such an eclectic place to stay. The room was great with even better beds. Super supportive and comfortable. The lighting could have been a bit brighter and perhaps a spot for a towel near the sink would make things easier. In all, I highly recommend this boutique hotel. The location is also ideal. I wouldn't hesitate to stay there again. Staff is also very accomodating and friendly. Great vibe there.

What a funky little hotel! My husband and I stayed the night as we were passing through Portland, so I was happy to have found this place. It’s very central to downtown Portland (and only a couple blocks from Powell’s!), which was very convenient for us. The architecture and design of the hotel is just beautiful and it was nicely upgraded. Plus, the little coffee shop next door provided the perfect light breakfast and coffee for our drive the next morning.

My stay at Kasa was great! I was able to contact the staff quickly and get an issue resolved quickly. The hotel is right in downtown, steps from powell’s books if you love books. It was close to transportation, restaurants, etc. it is a historical building so the ac was set to 67, it wasn’t bad considering I was out most of the time so it was fine at night. The coffee shop attached was also a huge plus! Would stay here again, especially as a solo traveler it was perfect for me.

We had a great stay here! Checking in was easy as all information was sent to me ahead of time. If you arrive before your check in time, you can store your bags with the front desk. Our room was clean, and comfortable. There is a cafe attached to the lobby which was very convenient. The hotel even provided drink tokens for the cafe! We will definitely stay here again the next time we are in Portland!

Comfortable, charming, and a very good value Charming and spacious--our king suite was so comfortable we almost didn't want to leave every morning to go experience Portland! It's a great location to get on transit to go to other parts of the city. (I would not recommend bringing a car--parking is irritating to navigate in downtown.) The folks at the front desk were super helpful, the cleaning crew do an awesome job, and one night we ordered room service and it hit the spot.

The room AC did not effectively cool the room, the windows did not open as the staff said they did. The room was not very clean, mirrors were very dirty, crumbs on floor, refrigerator did not keep beverages cold. Continental breakfast did not exist as having stated on their website. After I made complaints on non working AC, non opening windows to cool hotel room, & non existent continental breakfast, the staff came up with accusations that were NOT true. Stating physical force was seen on a minor child and that child running and hiding in a corner. However, they couldn't provide description of child or man and didn't have video footage to prove their accusation. I will never recommend this hotel to anyone, especially those traveling with children. As this hotel doesn't do well with critique & makes accusation after being critiqued on amenities that don't work or exist.

This hotel is absolutely adorable and conveniently located in downtown Portland. We were able to walk almost everywhere, which made exploring the city really easy. The rooms are stylish and comfortable, but be aware that they are on the smaller side. One thing to keep in mind is that some of the standard queen rooms have the shower located outside of the bathroom. This setup can feel a little awkward if you’re traveling with someone and would prefer more privacy. Overall, we really enjoyed our stay. The hotel has a lot of charm, the location is fantastic, and we felt it was definitely worth the price. We would happily stay here again!

The Clyde by Kasa for couples Location was really good to be honest. Lots of good places to eat nearby, close to the tram and bus stop. If you want to thrift there’s a few stores within a few blocks. The atmosphere was really good from the moment you walk in, everyone at the front desk is joyful and happy to assist. My girlfriend and I got the king suite and there was plenty of room. Definitely the most unique hotel room I’ve ever been in the best way possible, we’re gonna miss it. The value on it was crazy I genuinely thought I was getting scammed and called a few times to confirm. What was really underrated was the room service not gonna lie, it was honestly so good. Overall we really loved the place and if we ever decide to go back to Portland, we most definitely will come back here.

Trendy cute decor and great that it was dog friendly. Also nice they provided us with tokens for the downstairs coffee shop! Vagrants in the neighborhood were checking out our parked car at night (as seen on our camera footage) so not the safest neighborhood but knew not to leave anything visible in the car.

Your check-in counter camera wouldn't focus on the back of my ODL so I couldn't complete check in. The room was so dark I couldn't see that where the on switches were or that some had dimmers on them

Was a good hotel for the price. Our room/bathroom wasn’t as clean as we would have hoped, but nothing was atrocious. The room also had very little desk or counter space to put things. Other than that, the automated service was not bad. While it was not necessary to interact with staff they were incredibly friendly. Although we didn’t use them, the lobby seemed to have some useful amenities. The mini refrigerator that came with the room was a big plus.

The stay was amazing! This was our first time in Oregon and we lived how easy to get to and central this place was. A word of warning the AC is set to 67 it was in the 90s while we were here so we were a little warm but it was totally fine. The mattress was pretty firm which again not holding against Kasa were just getting old! Overall it was a great stay the lobby was so cute and yhe café next door had an amazing rosemary sage latte I loved. 10/10!!

It was a good place! I really liked the access to necessities like toilet paper, fans, and others at any time you need without needing to ask someone for it. However, the microwave, ice machine, and laundry were only accessible by asking a worker to do it for you. Heat up food? Bring it to a worker for them to use the microwave. Ice machine? Bring the container and they will fill it up. Laundry? $30 for a load and they will take care of it. I personally dont like that, but to each their own. Still a great place, though.

I stayed here last month while in town for work for a long weekend. I felt my stay was absolutely perfect for my needs. I stayed in a standard queen room with private bath. The room was simple but clean and had everything I needed. I was especially impressed by the coffee tokens for the adjoined coffee shop. They were an awesome touch and the coffee was excellent! The lobby was clean and the atmosphere was a great boho vibe. The communal space was also clean and quiet, allowing me to get work done when needed. The space was quiet overnight, I was never awoken by anyone else during my stay. And the location is absolutely fantastic. Close to a variety of wonderful shops and restaurants and only one block away from Powells. I will be staying here each time I fly out for work over the next couple of years.

The space was quiet overnight, I was never awoken by anyone else during my stay. And the location is absolutely fantastic. Close to a variety of wonderful shops and restaurants and only one block away from Powells. I will be staying here each time I fly out for work over the next couple of years.
