I love hotels like this, so cute, great location and had great amenities. However, walking into my room (315) , a mold smell hit me hard. I decided to just open the windows and door and maybe it would go away. But next morning it was still there and so was a headache.
I messaged kasa and they told me someone has to come inspect it. Wait, what?? If your customer says they smell mold, you should be moving them immediately. It’s a literal health issue. After about 4 hours and me having to remind them to update me, they finally “inspected” the room and told me THEY DIDN’T SMELL MOLD but sprayed the room and I wouldn’t be moved. I’m sorry, but what?? It’s actual crazy to tell your customer they are basically lying and that you don’t care. The hotel was basically empty, they could have switched me so easily.
The crazy thing to me, is why would I lie??? What would that get me? Because I really wanted to pack up my stuff and move rooms, sounds like a blast.
The mold smell stayed until I left this morning. My head hurt the last two mornings. This should have been taken more seriously and I won’t be returning. Which is a true bummer because I come up here alot and love the idea of this place. But these greedy corporations (they gross 100 million a year FYI) just don’t care.
EDIT
I was sent a message after leaving. Looks like they have water issues so mold absolutely is present.
