Lovely large rooms. Overlooking street. EAccess was very easy. God location near stations and airport bus 202 stops at the top of the road. Supermarket and Starbucks just down the street

Beautiful, clean, friendly! We had a room with a king size bed. It was very comfortable. It was a bit noisy with the street cars and the set up for the upcoming Mardi Gras events but they provide you with ear plugs and you don’t hear a thing Bianca assisted us with directions and recommendations for places to go and see. Provided a map and even highlighted routes for us. We also had a gift that contained more than the allowed 3oz to fly and Bianca assisted us to ship it back to our home. Bianca even went above and beyond getting a cab ordered for us scheduled the morning we were to depart from the hotel! I also loved that you had people at front desk who were friendly and told us about the best places to get a crawfish boil. (A must do for my adult daughter). I was also pleasantly surprised by the technology that permitted us to check in and out via our phones. No keys needed. The provided me with a door code and everything we needed for our stay, including the WiFi (which had a very strong signal). If I had questions I could text to the same number that they provided the codes and WiFi information and they would respond quickly. This saved us from calling or having to go to the lobby. I would absolutely stay here again. Jackson Square is right next to the hotel and it’s surrounded by beautiful old magnolia trees. There is lots to do within walking distance. Plenty to see and do!

The room were neglected, parts of carpet missing, spider webs, the toilet water ran, the bathtub leaked. The weather was cold and you could feed it super drafty even through the curtains they put bev3ause the balcony doors were so uneven. We got an email saying a fire alarm maintenance would begin 8-9 am the next day, mind you this was less then 12 hr notice. Then they never came, the front desk didnt know what time they would come into our room. So at any point they were in our room and we didnt know it. The good: Overall good location

Front staff are not helpful. Secondly, the room was super drafty with the french doors, the curtain wasnt nearly enough. There were spider webs, the tub would leak, pieces of carpet missing. Fine, we can deal because location was good. Then sunday night while I'm out I get a email/text after 8pm saying at 8-9am a fire maintenance check will be done. Ok I understand that's mandatory, but you're telling me this was scheduled on a random Sunday night for Monday morning? I reach out via chat to see what time they will be entering the room, as we were going to be out that night. There was 0 clarification, just thanks for the feedback that this wasnt enough notice. Then we ask the front desk monday morning, because we are rushing to get ready as 4 of us were in the room tired and wanted to have the room available for the maintenance check. The front desk didnt even realize what was happening and had 0 time available. Overall disorganized, no consideration, no here is a voucher for some breakfast. The place lacks alot. I would pick somewhere else next time.

The Lafayette Hotel was the perfect place to stay in New Orleans for our weekend trip. The staff were very courteous and helpful. The location was within walking distance of every place we visited. The room was comfortable and clean. We'll definitely book here again on our next visit.

Fantastic stay!

As a solo traveler, I love this place so much. The room size is perfectly fine for myself and on top of that the service is phenomenal 👌. I was going to ask for a hotel bathtup stopper but we ended up by having conversation over an hour at the front desk. Both of lady and gentlemen who worked there were so nice and provided me many many many recommendations on restaurants and bars to visit. I never had this kind of personal experience before. Thank you so much!!

The staff were wonderful! They were friendly, happy to answer any questions we had, and had a fun sense of humour. Our room was very comfortable, spacious and clean.

Top notch staff. Clean hotel. Good location, 10 min walk to main things, yet removed from the noise. Hot water and good shower pressure. Struggled with the room temperature as all the windows not insulated great so still felt cold during the cold snap they had when I was there.

My stay at the Lafayette exceeded expectations in every way. I can’t say enough about how welcoming and helpful Bianca and Stephan were. Everything was perfect. Thank you so much. I would stay again in a heartbeat. Great establishment.

The Lafayette by Kasa is as perfect. The history of the building showed in every corner! The rooms were clean and spacious, bed comfortable and the staff was welcoming and friendly! The Kasa was centrally located within walking distance to everything we wanted to do while in New Orleans!

El personal es muy amable atendiendo. El problema surgió por la cancelación de nuestro viaje debido a la alerta de nieve. Como la opción escogida en la reserva era " no reembolsable", el hotel no quiso colaborar. No devolviendo el dinero, que lo entiendo, sino con tal vez un bono para otra ocasión, dado que la cancelación no fue nuestra responsabilidad. Me parece que no es una buena política de empresa.

Perfect place to stay if you want to be close to bourbon street and a lot of other fun activities! Quiet and relaxing stay in our room, delicious room service, and just all around great vibes from everyone. Definitely will be rebooking the next time we come back to nola!

Staff was lovely and did their best, but whomever owns this place is t doing any maintainence. Bathroom was disgusting. Crumbling fixtures and wall, mild, messed up ceiling. Trolley from the street passing by was super loud all through the night. Our bed had a hair in it and no comforter only sheets. Staff gave us a comforter.

Check in was easy, every employee we talked to was kind and helpful! The room was bigger than we anticipated, and super comfy. The location is great: there's a streetcar station across the street, and Royal/Bourbon/Canal are at most a ten minute walk if you don't want to ride the streetcar. We felt safe walking at all hours.

Had an exceptionally hard time getting into this hotel. I never received the pre-check in email guests are meant to receive 48 hours before your stay. Once I received it, it would not confirm my identity online and no one would manually approve my identity, so it took around 2 hours of me calling and asking for help and being sent the same failing link over and over again. Once we finally made it to the hotel, we did not receive the room I booked. It was meant to have 2 beds and only had 1. The balcony was nice but very small, no tables or chairs or anything like that. House keeping came sporadically throughout our stay, and the first time they came they refolded our dirty towels and put them back on the bathroom shelf instead of giving us new ones. Location of this place is great, close to the French quarter and lots of stuff to do. The walls ARE thin and the streetcar outside is loud, but personally did not bother me during my stay. Overall, not a bad hotel but I did not receive the experience I paid for.

Location! Location! Location! It's near everything in New Orleans, restaurants, the French Quarter, the Cathedral, and the Riverwalk Mall. I give it 5 stars for its affordability and for having everything you need.

Great place ! Close to the French Quarter. Great Staff. I was leery of the text communication aspect but they always responded within 30 seconds of my text.

Likes: Great price centrally located. Dislikes: WiFi was spotty and TV crooked on wall.

I would never stay here again, they don’t have breakfast, no snacks or drinks to purchase, no microwave in room, the bedsheets look dirty and stained

Great location next to Lafayette Park. Easy check-in and check out. Love the balcony right on the trolley line.

We loved our stay here!! Other reviews said the bath towels were too small, but that doesn't seem to be the case anymore. The location was good if you are not a big party animal, we enjoyed the peaceful neighborhood! All of the stuff were very helpful and friendly and we had a great time! There is a hop-on hop off bus stop right in front of the hotel too which made it super convenient. I would come back again.

The stay was great but the digital check in was a pain. I was travelling and trying to use my phone to get the door code and room assignment which involves switching screens to retrieve 4 digit codes and multiple emails with the “team”. Only to arrive and find there is someone on the reception desk and the front door was open and the valet was right there at the front door…the whole thing needs a revamp. Really a pain.

This is, without question, the worst hospitality experience I’ve ever had. The company that runs this place is willing to lie, misrepresent facts, and do whatever it takes to squeeze every dollar out of you—without actually providing a place to stay. I spent most of my trip going back and forth with them—over six hours wasted—trying to either get a refund or simply change my dates to a day I had already paid for, after notifying them days in advance about my change in travel plans. Instead of help, I was met with antagonistic behavior and outright hostility. It honestly felt like the staff enjoys this kind of chaos, because several other guests were dealing with similar issues that were never resolved. Yes, the price is cheap for the area—but do yourself a favor and spend the extra money for peace of mind. Don’t let them ruin your trip like they ruined mine.

This place is a steal for the price and how nice it is! Rooms are small but super nice and comfortable, great location, walkable to everything. Lovely old building.
