The place was really nice and clean and in a safe area close to the French Quarter. The room was very nice with a King bed and a very nice bathroom and shower. Everything was in walking distance. The trolly to the Garden District was just across the street which was very convenient. Overall it was a great stay and we would definitely recommend to friends!

First time in New Orleans and had a great experience here! Location was walking distance from streetcar that takes you anywhere. Quiet and relaxing place as well. Will definitely stay here again next time

Overall I had a good stay. While I think the bathroom should be updated and the vents cleaned for the cost of the room, I thought the customer service was good. I had an issue with my iron and the hotel staff quickly got me a new iron.

Everything was great. Only things that need work is where/what floor is the ice machine on. Also is there a microwave available to guests since there is not one in the room. Room was beautiful and hotel is located perfect for walking to many different sites, restaurants and bars.

Room was very nice, clean and elegant. Nice to have front desk person.

Check in was online and fairly confusing. Parking was $45/night thus adding to your overall costs. Didn't really have any way of confirming parking area was correct because it was over a block away from the hotel. Wasn't sure parking area was safe until I went to get my car the next morning. A staff person was finally there after 10 minutes or so to explain where the parking was.

Likes: Great location in walking distance to French quarter, even to Jackson square it is within 20 minutes walking distance. The hotel is located in business district and clean and quite. Dislikes: There is almost no service available, fortunately the valet parking guys from next doors restaurant helped us to get into to contact to somebody giving us access to our luggage in the safe locker. We stayed there 3 nights without seeing any sign of a room service.

Loved this hotel! Got an upgrade for one of our rooms which was awesome! Conveniently located about a mile or so from the French Quarter! Staff were excellent, rooms were spacious and so clean! Roku for the tv was great! We would highly recommend and stay again!

I was not informed as to the wifi login and password when I checked in so when I needed to use the wifi, I could not get in touch with customer service. There was alot of outside noise, trollie, motocycles, vehicles. At around 9pm the fire alarm went off and I later found out that it was a false alarm. The coffee maker was totally useless because there was no outlet near by to plug into.

Everything was very clean snd staff was virtual but very attentive. I would stay here again

We had a great experience! Booked 3 rooms and got one room upgrade. The hotel was clean and comfortable. The staff were all amazing! We would highly recommend this hotel and stay again on our next visit to NOLA!!

Ehh probably wouldn’t stay here again Charming boutique style hotel. Great location but checking in was a nightmare. We didn’t receive any instructions for the “virtual check in” and the guy at the front desk had no clue what he was doing and couldn’t find our reservation. It was late and we were exhausted so it was just inconvenient. Also, the streetcar runs outside your window all morning so good luck sleeping in lol

Beds are extremely comfortable. Lacks a microwave for leftovers. Walkable distance to French quarter. It's a historic building. Has elevators.

We had a great experience here! This was a bucket list trip for my brother with terminal cancer! Marisol rearranged so our 3 rooms could be together and even upgraded my brother to a suite at no additional charge! He was so grateful and enjoyed living in style for a couple of nights! Our other two rooms were also amazing! We would definitely stay here again (my son lives in Baton Rouge so we visit every couple of years!) We will recommend your hotel to anyone looking to stay in NOLA away from the craziness of the French Quarter! Thank you for our wonderful visit!

This was one of the worst hotels we have stayed at in a long time. When you arrive there is no seating area which is very inconvient if you are waiting for a Lyft. Parking area is blocks from hotel and very sketchy lot. The room is small and VERY DARK. There was one small light beside the bed and one reading light over the desk. The shower appeared to have been cleaned but did have mold and used bottles of body soap and shampoo. Even the shower head looked nasty. No soap at the sink just another bottle of body wash. There are no vending machines for snacks or bottled water. They will not clean your room unless you pay extra so no extra towels. The view was the back of another building with large AC Units that were really loud. Even the bar and resturant acted as if they didn't want to serve us. Plus they close early. We arrived a little before 10pm and asked if we could just rest in the bar while we waited for our friends LYFT to show up and were told no. The pictures of the bathroom were not what we had. It was old and needing remodel. Even the toliet didn't work when we first arrived. The handle was stuck and my husband had to fix it. The ONLY plus was the trolly stops right in front. Other than that - would never stay here again.

Offering bathroom necessities and change of rags/towels throughout the stay would be beneficial. Otherwise, great stay! Would book again for sure!

Close to everything, port downtown walking distance to Caesar Casino. My sister and I enjoyed everything there and would definitely book again😎

The Lafayette Hotel is a beautiful historic building with cosy historic rooms. It is right next to the St. Charles Street car line and very convenient to get around to downtown locations. The only thing is that it is not very quiet. The ac was loud and noisy and the street car goes by morning and evening and it is loud and clanging when it goes by. It noises don't matter this is a great place to stay.

Great location, attentive communications by the staff, responsive to requests and inquiries.

The concierege was really helpful with parking!!! It wasn't too difficult to check in and out, because the texts and emails were easy to follow.

The hotel is easy to get into and walking distance to several resturaunts and the French quarter. The room was exactly as described.

below average Dislikes: we didn't receive any maid service the 3 days we were there told we should have requested it. hotel is really outdated and needs a makeover. It wasn't worth the 200 per night.

Lovely Likes: Looks lovely and the staff were more than helpful

We were a bit apprehensive with having to provide so much personal info before booking...passport, picture, background check but so far so good. Front desk person was extremely helpful at check in. Our tv was troublesome. Quick fix both times. Pay for parking was somewhat confusing. Our reservations said parking wasn't included but I had completed a pre-arrival to include it. I knew there would be a seperate charge as we recieved instructions on where to park via text. Then when we parked I had to confirm with Kasa, via text, that it was taken care of. Somewhat confusing. We loved the door codes and car in and out access. Overall, a very enjoyable place to stay!

Holy Hell! The stay was awful. The rooms TV and fridge didn't work. They had to move our room and we had to wait 4 hours with no where to go with a u month old. We spent more time waiting for our room and dealing with things wrong than we actually did enjoying our time. I will never stay here again. Not to mention the price that hotels.com gave me was no where what I was charged....it was more than double. I would have never stayed here for that price, we could have stayed at a way better hotel for that price.

My two children and I really enjoyed our recent stay here. The location was great! Street car pick up right out front but a close walk to the quarters. Felt safe and the area was quiet and clean. Parking was convenient. The room and amenities were comfortable and had everything we needed plus some very nice touches. Everyone was very friendly and helpful that we came across. Would recommend and stay again!

Likes: Location Dislikes: Pretty much no staff available to help. Got stuck during storm property offered no accommodations and an emergency situation. Not once during our state did anybody come to change bedding offer new towels or change or trash. We were there for over a week.

The hire was excellent. Great location to everything. The room was awesome and the bed was super comfy. Parking was around the corner but drop off was super easy. Would highly recommend staying here and will definitely be back

The check in is easy and the rooms are okay. The tub is outdated but otherwise okay. The only issue is the lack of service. They say to text but everything is inconsistent. I did not receive a receipt until I asked two times for it. It took all day for toilet paper to be received despite requesting in the morning. I requested an additional blanket and did not receive it. Additionally, one of the towels had someone’s falsie eyelash stuck on it like it wasn’t washed.

Fantastic location! Everything was perfect and as described. Checking in was a breeze and payed parking was just a short walk away. Will definitely stay here again!

This was a cute place to stay for our little getaway! We showed up and there was already music and festivales going on surrounding it so that was fun! I will suggest in the future to pay for parking they provide because the closest garages for a descent price are a bit of a walk.

The room was quaint and clean and the bed was super comfortable. Not too far from the quarter, but far enough away that you weren’t in the thick of it. Some marvelous restaurants near by.
