The door would not close unless I held part of the lock closed manually. No quilt but instead, a cheap blanket covered by sheets. I had to move the incredibly heavy night stand to access a plug for my phone, which I use for an alarm. A couple of glasses in the room would be nice. The room has an ice bucket but there is no ice available. I can't rate the service because there wasn't any. It is basically self check in and self serve. No frills trying to disguise itself as luxury. The only plus is the location.

When I arrived I noticed the bathroom sink was not clean. The next morning the sink started leaking from the pipe below. I notified the office. They sent someone to clean the sink and said someone would fix it while we were out. The next morning the sink was leaking and the entire bathroom floor was wet. I contacted the office once again. We had to move rooms. These issues took several hours out of our stay. I was not satisfied with our stay at all. Please note, the lady working the front desk was very nice and helpful.

My room was more then i expected. We were very happy with it . The balcony is the best room , especially for mardi gras its directly in the parade routes

Likes: Great location. Quite and safe neighborhood walkable from the French Quarter. Very cost-effective hotel option.
We asked for a microwave and was delivered to the room!
Dislikes: There is some electric chirping noise in the room throughout our stay that the concierge could not fix.

The place was spacious and in a great location. The trolly was across the street and a block away. It was also a wonderful walkable location. Everything was 5-20 minute walk. It was a nice way to see New Orleans. The hotel itself was dated and not as clean as other places. Nothing that bothered me but room service did not come at all to clean, there was some mold in the corners of the tub, and the hallway had a mildewy smell. The sheets and the floor were clean. Overall I did not mind my stay.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at the Lafayette by Kasa! The location was convenient, the room was clean, quiet and had every convenience we could want. Being an older couple, we did find our room a little dark but that's just us, not a complaint

The facility is clean and very comforable. Staff is extremely friendly. This location is an easy walk to pretty much anywhere you want to go. It's also close to trolly stops if you need to take the trolley. There is also a grocery store nearby.

Very lovely place to stay with good condition
Likes: Nice hotel, good amenities, friendly and helpful staff. Within 15 min walking from old town
Dislikes: In the first night it was a very loud noise from the ventilation system, non-stop, we had to switch rooms.

This hotel was perfect. It was walking distance for the most part, had great food options near by. Very clean, staff was very attentive. Check in & Out was very easy and convenient. I would definitely recommend staying here when visiting NOLA.

We enjoyed our stay - the room was clean and the entire place had a classic vibe to it. Convenient walking distance to many tourist spots with different transit options if you want to go further. Some sketchy areas around French Quarter but near the hotel was generally ok.

I like the hotel. The issues with my room should have been addressed prior to me checking in. Overall I would stay again given its proximity to everything

We stayed here while visiting relatives uptown. It was very convenient to hop on the streetcar. Also close to the quarter and the arts district. We found plenty of restaurants within walking distance too.

I saw some reviews after booking that mentioned uncleanliness. I reached out to hotel and they assured me their staff would personally inspect and ensure cleanliness in our room. Found mold everywhere in shower upon arrival. No hair dryer in room. Called down to get one. They brought me a non functioning one. Evacuated one night for fire alarm from man pulling it. Horrible stay!!!!

Checkin was great. When using the shower noticed the drain was plugged. Staff moved us to 502. Then said room was not available. Moved us to 2nd floor
Room was uncomfortable. Shower sprayed water through hot water knob. Room 413 was repaired and we stayed there for last night. Staff was very helpful.
