Lovely hotel with very friendly staff. I’ve stayed here a few times. Hardly any noise could be heard from neighboring rooms. The bathroom in room 406 is desperately in need of updating.

Charming Warehouse District hotel This was our 2nd stay at this hotel and we absolutely love it! Paul who works at the front desk was very welcoming and accommodating. The St Charles trolly line has a stop in the same block as the hotel, very convenient if you plan to visit the Garden District. We like the serenity of the hotel's neighborhood with the option of a leisurely walk to the lively French Quarter.

Très bon emplacement, à proximité du quartier français, parking public à côté, chambre spacieuse Likes: Bon emplacement à environ 15 min à pied de Bourbon Street. Grand parking public à 100 m de l’hôtel à 24$/jour (de 8h du matin au lendemain 8h par exemple). Très facile le parking reste ouvert, on gare la voiture et on paye sur internet en mettant la plaque d’immatriculation. tout est expliqué sur place. Cafe à disposition dans la chambre très grande, propre et confortable. Dislikes: Il y avait un bruit très fort dans la chambre avec des fenêtres à simple vitrage anciennes qui laissaient rentrer le bruit de gros climatiseurs centralisés placés dans la cour intérieure en dessous nos fenêtres pourtant situées au 4ème étage. Demander à ne pas être sur l’arrière de l’hôtel…

Lovely Hotel on St. Charles Ave. The staff gave us a warm welcome and helped make our stay comfortable. The room was clean and luxurious with nice, firm mattresses. Location was central on the lovely streetcar line and walkable to the French Quarter. I would definitely stay at The Lafayette on my next trip to New Orleans.

Overall stay was good. You should tell guests that parking is limited and best for compact cars not SUV’s. Why can guests not turn off the tv in the room? The beds is super firm if you like that then it will be ok. We liked the convience and the look of hotel. Good stay.

Beautiful, historic

One night We were in town for a night and loved this place! Ambience and comfort were top tier. From Paul at the front desk (who is simply the best!) who provided us with many recommendations and accommodations to the very friendly doormen, the customer service made us feel right at home. This hotel is gorgeous and the staff take great care of this place. Will definitely be back.

Prima betaalbaar hotel op loopafstand van downtown New Orleans. Likes: Erg behulpzaam en vriendelijk personeel, parkeren werd ons gemakkelijk gemaakt door maar 1 van de 3 dagen te berekenen. Extra kamer schoonmaken werd meteen genoteerd en uitgevoerd. Dislikes: Kamer met balkon maar helaas geen stoel of tafel aanwezig. Nog wel gevraagd maar helaas, na een lange dag nog niets op het balkon. Jammer. Om dan te betalen voor je balkon als je er niets aan hebt.

although some bumps had a good time, but need to report any problems right away and be persistent until issues resolved Likes: location, cleanliness, staff Dislikes: trouble with HVAC, bad internet, ice machine down, but repaired a day later, unusual elevator layout, how, staff helped us upgrade to nice suite, went out and bought ice for us and were very nice

Awesome Likes: Ease of access to cable car and location for many venues

First time in NOLA Paul, Terica and Kevin made this trip amazing for us! Love this hotel and all the charm it brings. It is perfectly situated for walking to everything, but be prepared to get lots of steps. There is easy public transportation. I felt very safe paying for the hotel parking right across the street. It was a tight fit but I was pleased with security. The rooms are cozy and comfortable. Slept wonderfully in their beds

Stay was very pleasant with a couple of improvements that should be easy fixes. Likes: The staff was super personable and always happy to greet. The location was awesome! The hop on hop off bus basically dropped you off a block away. Being next to the beautiful park was also a plus. Our suite had a beautiful view. Dislikes: The only downers were that the coffee pot didn't work. Maintenance had to bring a new one eventually and the TV/remoe didn't work. When I went down early mornings to get ice, the floor where the ice machine was was not available in the elevator.

Bobby made our honeymoon a memorable one by picking an amazing room to setting up a honeymoon dinner for us! I love this hotel, and would stay here again next time I'm in New Orleans

Schön zentral Likes: Kurze Wege zum Zentrum. Einkaufsmöglichkeit in der Nähe. Sehr bequeme Betten. Dislikes: Sehr laute Klimaanlage. Langsamer Aufzüge. Defekte Toilettenspülung. Wenig Licht, nur indirekte Beleuchtung.

Perfect location, great staff, would 100% stay again. Likes: Our room (514) was lovely. The light switch as you enter seemed to be having an issue however, it flickered like a strobe light. Having the 2 rooms was great! The bed was SO comfortable. The staff was friendly. Dislikes: It would have been nice to have brochures/pamphlets in the room about close places to eat. The phone should have a note saying how to dial the front desk and/or how to get an outside line.

Cute hotel, great staff but not a lot of amenities for the price Likes: The front desk staff was very kind and the location was close to everything Dislikes: The room Booking.com offered was not the room the hotel was given. The hotel was not advised that we purchased a balcony suite. They were able to give us a larger room but only 1 bed and a pull out couch. The couch was extremely uncomfortable and ended up sleeping on it as a couch instead.

New Orleans Accom Likes: Great little hotel in an awesome location, close to everything. Rooms were a good size and the staff friendly.

Personal service When the hotel's new software had trouble keeping track of my reservation, both Paul (at the reservation desk) and Bobby (Manager) were very very helpful in staightening out the situation—to the extent of sending the confirmation by personal email.

Beyond expectations Likes: The hotel staff just amazing Denise, Paul, Kevin, just couldn't be better!

Lovely New Orleans Charm We enjoyed our stay! The hotel is charming and our room was large and comfortable. Paul is the best and our stay wouldn’t have been nearly as successful without his incredible hospitality and customer service. Can’t wait to stay again!

Likes: Location was very convenient as it is on the St. Charles trolley route. The room and bathroom are very spacious & clean. The employees are all very polite, helpful & respectful.

Great stay, exceeded my expectations. I will likely stay there again should I return to New Orleans! Likes: Perfect location for our needs. Staff were very friendly and always greeted us when entering the hotel. Room was clean and comfortable. Dislikes: Wifi was very spotty, it only worked in certain areas of the room. However it was not a huge deal as we did not spend much time in the room anyway!

Would stay again, loved it. Likes: Love the location and history, very quiet and walkable to everything. Staff was incredibly friendly and helpful. Asked for extra towels and no issues at all. Clean and tidy. Dislikes: We were on the top floor so had to take two separate elevators to get there, just kind of an odd set up but it’s an older hotel with a TON of history so obviously doesn’t always work out like a new hotel! Toilet didn’t have the strongest flush but never caused a problem, just patience, again, older hotel.

The staff of the hotel was outstanding. Always helpful and friendly. The hotel was clean and quiet. We loved our stay!

Would stay again. Likes: The facility was super nice. Location was decent. Staff was SUPERUB Dislikes: Our air wouldn't get cold enough, nor was the cold water cold.

Wonderful accommodations and staff. Likes: The Rooms were spacious and very comfortable. Staff was extremely helpful and friendly. Dislikes: Parking is very expensive at $47 per night. I don't mind paying a reasonable amount with a max of $20 per night.

Overall I loved the place and would stay there again. Hotel was very cool and the staff was friendly Likes: Great location near the park and the street car stops right in front of the hotel. It was an easy walk to the quarter or casino and the street car took us to Uptown and the Garden District quite easily! The hotel itself is historic and quaint with tons of character and everything was well maintained and clean! My wife would have loved it if she had been on this trip. Dislikes: Cable was weak or out most of my stay so I couldn't watch much TV while in the room. Internet worked ok for my phone but not my laptop. I had a corner room on the 2nd floor facing St. Charles so there was streetcar noise with regularity. That took a day to get used to. Also, they were installing a new reservation system, so when we got to the hotel late Friday night and asked for a late checkout for Saturday, it did not make it into the system and I was not able to get a late checkout when I called the front desk in the morning. Fortunately, my buddy got a late checkout so we were able to watch football games in his room.

My stay was good for my first time in New Orleans everything was walking distance bed was comfortable just didn’t like I Likes: I like that the property was walking distance from bourbon st. The bed was very comfortable. Location was peaceful. You had to have a room key to enter the hotel. Dislikes: The front door glass was broken. The lobby was small. There was no fridge or microwave. The volume and power button didn’t work on remote but did on tv.
