Meh Likes: Location to stuff to do was decent Dislikes: Lock on door went out while we were out is what we were told so had to move rooms for the night. All of our things in the first room until we can get them in the morning. Staff not helpful with resolving things tonight since we have a long drive tomorrow

We arrived late at night due to a later flight. I didn’t realize that in booking through Expedia the hotel does not have to honor requests such as a king size bed which is what I booked. Upon arrival we were given a room with two queen size beds and told that was all that was available. The weather was extremely hot, and our room had no cold water. I was pretty thirsty from traveling most of the day and had to drink warm water. Our room temperature was 77 degrees, and even though we turned the AC down to cool it off the room stayed warm. Not to mention the elevator was barely breathable and hot. In the future I will book directly through the hotel. Beautiful hotel but not the best experience.

Perfect for quick drive through with a dog. Easy parking and park next door for the dogs. Likes: Great quiet location and wonderful staff. Had our dog and did not have an additional charge. Dislikes: All good

I loved Lafayette Hotel. I thought it wasn’t going to be pleasant since it’s an old building, but it was beautiful! it’s clean, beautiful and adds a charm to the stay in New Orleans.

Needs MUCH Improvement Likes: The property was in a good location. It was close enough to walk to the popular areas but far enough so it was a quiet area. Dislikes: I didn’t like how the property is managed. I booked for a king suite, only to arrive and be placed in a double room. After speaking with the front desk attendant, I was told the GM would contact me about rectifying this issue. It’s TWO DAYS AFTER I’ve checked out and still NO CONTACT! The property also doesn’t have a microwave and the air conditioning is very shotty. It doesn’t cool really well.

My stay was supposed to be a 4 bedroom apartment it do not booked was I was wanting and I’m out of $ Dislikes: When I booked through you guys I thought I was getting an apartment with 4 bedrooms not 4 separate rooms I only used 1 room because my guest and I wanted to be together and they were somewhere else and I’m out of $900

I stayed here for my birthday trip August 9th-12th, and loved this hotel. The hotel gives off a vintage yet elegant haunted vibe which i wanted since i was staying in New Orleans with all of its history. The Rooms were also very nice and clean but one thing i won't forget is how amazing all of the staff were at this hotel, especially Mr.Kevin at the front, who helped my boyfriend and I with knowing what to do in the area, where to catch the trolley, maps and location, and great restaurants to eat at. You can tell he loves what he does and was willing to help out some tourists during our stay. The hotel offered room service everyday of our stay and it was an easy check in and check out. The location is great with the Green Trolley that goes straight to the garden district in the front and a few minutes walk to the red trolley down the street.

Beautiful, nice location, amazing staff The hotel itself has a wonderfully cozy, historic vibe but the point of my review is to rave about the staff. They were all extremely helpful and I think you'd be hard pressed to find a more kind & caring staff. They went above & beyond to accomdate us, help us navigate NOLA, and made us feel safe & right at home. Shoutout to Shauna, Chauna, Marcella, Paul, & Kevin. I didn't catch the name of the gentleman who was in the restaurant, but he was very pleasant as well. Thanks again to these folks for making our stay in NOLA a really great one.

Great location- lovely decoration in the room- poor customer service Likes: Beautifully decorated and great location Dislikes: The staff were a little defensive when we complained about the mismatched description on bookings.com. Additionally they did not service the room every day and when we complained rather than apologising asked if we had left the do not disturb sign on the door- we had not. The internet did not work at all in one part of the room and this was not resolved. The tv in one room did not work and when they fixed it left both tv blaring loud when we returned- very odd behaviour- one could argue passive-aggressive. Customer service needs work. The windows and curtains did not open so you get get air that was not air conditioning.
