Excellent stay-STELLAR STAFF!
The property was a historic location and central to all the things we wanted to see and do. The room we booked was a suite and quite large and comfortable. My absolute FAVORITE part about the hotel was the staff, they were all wonderful and I regret not getting everyone’s names, but notably Paul put a smile on our faces every day. They clearly enjoy what they do and are so welcoming and accommodating.
It was a little older, as it is a historic hotel, so some amenities I enjoy like room service were not available; however, there was a world-class steakhouse right downstairs and one block away was a restaurant called “Cafe on the Square” that was where we ended up for breakfast every morning and a couple lunches. We didn’t lack for anything while we were there. It was right on the street car lines and within easy walking distance of CVS and Walgreens, where we could stock up on bottled water and sunscreen.
