Disappointing Stay – Serious Privacy Concerns
Unfortunately, my experience at this Airbnb was not a positive one. I was startled to wake up from a nap to find someone standing in the kitchen — completely unannounced and without my permission. This was a major invasion of privacy and made me feel extremely unsafe.
The cleanliness also left much to be desired, with long strands of hair found throughout the space, including in the blankets . Two out of the three kitchen outlets were not functioning, which made basic use of the space frustrating.
When I tried to address these issues with the team, I found them to be dismissive and lacking in understanding, especially regarding the seriousness of someone entering the unit without notice.
Additionally, the walls are very thin — you can hear everything from neighboring units — and there’s no free parking, which wasn’t clear in the listing. The bed is located just a few feet from the furnace and water heater, both of which are very loud.
