Austin accommodations Great spot conveniently located in a quiet spot downtown. Modern, clean accommodations in an apt building that is a short walk to nightlife and sights. So nice to have apt accommodations with top notch hotel like services - food delivery, concierge services, and 24/7 staff avl via text message with super friendly disposition. Staff was accommodating and went above and beyond to ensure a great stay. Only suggestions for improvement is a place to drop luggage prior/after check-in/out in the same building where we stayed as well as better, faster elevators.

You’ll never want to stay anywhere else! Amazing! The units were beautiful and the staff was always available (instantaneously) by text, very friendly and helpful. Even my teenagers were very impressed. I can’t recommend this place enough; by far the best place we’ve ever stayed!

Stay here. You’ll love it! We loved the Guild @ Amli on 2nd. Super walkable neighborhood and close to a lot of music venues and restaurants we wanted to visit. Having the full apartment with the kitchen was really convenient. Picked up a few groceries from the nearby Trader Joe’s and we were set for breakfasts.

Cool hotel concept Like the fact that’s it’s an apartment not a conventional hotel but still has hotel perks like housekeeping.

Guild City Center The unit was very well kept and had an amazing view

Great location in downtown Austin Check-in and check-out easy. Parking garage felt safe. The apartment on a high floor had fantastic view of Colorado river. Floor to ceiling windows allowed lots of light and balcony allowed outside time without leaving apartment. The furnishings modern with clean lines. The whole apartment was clean. Plenty of towels, etc in bathroom. Also well supplied with paper towels,kleenex, TP, dishwasher detergent and regular soap. We didn't use pool due to outside temperatures, but that area looked very nice as well.

Check in was a total pain and made the entire rest of the stay not worth the price.

Guild City Center Our stay at the Guild City Center was good overall. Communication was easy and the apartment was beautiful with floor to ceiling windows and stocked with anything you might need. My only complaint about the actual unit was that the floors were concrete and the only room with a rug was the living room. A real rug in the bathroom other than the flimsy Towel type would have been greatly appreciated. Also, the building was down to one elevator so it was often full and took a long time to get to you. Once the second elevator is fixed, I’m sure it will be easier.

Perfect Apartment Rental Perfect location to explore Austin! A short walk from 6th street & the capitol building, plus had a great view of the water. The apartment was very clean, felt at home during our stay.

The Guild was great! Just a fantastic place and a great concept in a "hotel" which actually is more like a condo. The 2-bedroom was very spacious, the feel is modern urban chic. Great neighborhood. Will look to stay here, and at other Guild hotels, in the future.

Spacious and modern, close to everything Many of the nicer hotels were sold out over the dates we were traveling to Austin, and the ones with availability for very pricey that particular weekend. We decided to book the Guild because of price and size of the unit (2 bed, 2 bath). The Guild did not disappoint. Our apartment was huge, modern, and had awesome floor to ceiling windows with views of downtown. There were just 3 of us and we had more than enough room. It is bit tricky figuring out how to get yourself checked in and into the room, which may be an issue for non-tech savvy individuals. Once we got it figured out, we were fine the rest of the trip. We loved being able to walk 1/2 a block to 2nd street where there were great restaurants, cafes, and shops. We especially enjoyed dinner at Lamberts. We were visiting Austin so our son could check out UT. The apartment was a short 10 minute drive to campus. When in Austin again, we will definitely stay at the Guild.

Modern, spacious, and ideally located Great location, great price, and lovely modern décor. This is an unconventional type of lodging - a collection of rental units in a residential building. You won't get the info about how to get in, etc. until a day or two before you arrive, but it's pretty clear if you follow the instructions/videos about how to access the building and the parking if you have a car. The views are phenomenal from 14th floor overlooking the Colorado River. Nice shops and dining within walking distance. The unit is very well stocked, and instructions are provided as art hanging on the wall. Really clever. 6 block walk to the convention center.

Great hotel, especially if your there for a while I booked this thinking it was a hotel. After I booked a virtual check in email/text came. I had to scan my drivers license both sides and then it says it will get back to me with instructions after I pass a security check. Strange but I am tech savvy so no biggie. After an hour or so the instructions on where the hotel is, front door code, elevator code, room number and room entry code all came in via text/email. When I landed in Austin it was a little tricky to find the place with the Uber driver because it is not a hotel but rather a time-share style condo place. I think a less tech savvy person may have been annoyed with the process but I found the quality of the accommodations to be WELL WORTH the minor hassle of not having a Hotel Lobby. It is VERY comfortable, quiet, great location...I will stay again. I would probably stay at a hotel if I was doing a quick trip to save the check in, but if I had a multi day stay I will be back for sure. BTW THEY HAVE A RECORD PLAYER AND RECORDS in the room! NICE!!!

Great time in Austin. This is a great apartment complex with nice amenities including fitness facility, pool, business center, coffee center, and nice tenants. The apartment is large and very comfortable. The apartment was well stocked with soap, shampoo, conditioner, hair dryer, toilet paper, etc. plus 3 TVs. The only thing missing is a microwave. It's in a terrific, centralized location with a great bike shop to rent bikes only 2 blocks away.

My new favorite place to lodge Amazing accommodations. Unit looked exactly like the pictures in the profile. I stayed in an apt. on the 15th floor overlooking the Colorado River. Talk about a streamlined check in/out process. Absolutely loved it! I am a big fan of a comfortable hotel, but the experience at The Guild is on a whole new level of lodging.

It’s not a hotel, it’s a vacation rental The appartment is great: clean, lightfull and well decorated. But the check in process is awfull, there is no reception to leave the luggage, no cleaner and no room service.

Manhattan feeling A little bit surprising with the high tech setup about check in, but fun and worked good. Nice view and cool furnitures. Not super practical with kids but it worked. Nice surroundings for walking

Great stay! Great stay. Had 2 BR unit for 2 couples. Perfect location.

This was our first experience of a Guild property, and overall it was a very good one. It’s nice to be surrounded by residents rather than other ‘hotel’ guests. The apartment was very spacious. It’s urban and contemporary in feel: poured concrete floors, minimalist furnishings. The turntable and vinyl records are a complete gimmick; the sound quality is absolutely awful! But the Wi-Fi is quick and easy. We didn’t try the TVs.

Book it! The apartment and overall booking experience was fantastic. The apartment was stunning. Online check in was very convenient and easy. I definitely recommend to anyone visiting Austin!

Great Place in downtown Austin! Guild City Center was a fun place in a great location! Walkable to the Sixth Street live music scene. The pool and fitness center enhanced our trip with healthy relaxation!

Great location. Nice modern room. Great location right downtown with easy access to the river, South Congress, 6th St and Rainey St. Getting into the room the first time is a little confusing but we got the hang of it. The Guild staff is easy to contact by text if any questions or problems arise.

I can see how they just won Out Magazines "Top 10 Gay Clubs In The Entire World". This hotel is a luxury condo and downtown Austin is where it's at baby!

Underwhelmed and Overpriced? The booking process was easy, the cost seemed a little excessive given the property and duration between booking and departure (less than 24 hours). The validation/ID check process took a little while, and was unexpected. It would be helpful for the disclosure of information about the ID validation and the fact that you're staying in an apartment building to happen in the listing. The property was lovely, the instructions via text (when I finally got them), were easy to follow. I spoke with someone (Andrew?) on the phone (prior to receiving the text instructions) and he was very friendly! The property was easy to find and access- the videos were helpful with that process. Inside the apartment, it had a very welcoming feel. It could have been furnished a little more warmly (balcony furniture, a nice overstuffed chair), but in general it had a bed to sleep in which is really what I needed. The overnight street noise was louder than I expected which made for a restless stay... maybe provide some ear plugs? Overall, I would stay here again for maybe $130 plus all of the fees. $240 plus $20 to park was not worth it in the end.

The Guild is the best. Amazing property. Amazing location. The guild is amazing! Comfortable. Spacious. Everything you need. I’ll be staying at guild properties henceforth for all of my Austin business trips.

Extremely nice. We greatly enjoyed the stay and have expressed to many how nice everyone was. That everyone was polite and helpful. We will be back.

Like you live in Austin Room- Nice clean room with a great kitchen and balcony with a view. You really feel like a resident of Austin during your stay. Cool vibe in the apartment. Area- Great area, very close to rooftop bars, BBQ restaurants and of course the bars on Rainy st. Check In- Not the usual process so beware. It's a virtual check in with a number of steps and verification. If you are aware up front, shouldn't be a problem. Check out- Normal check out. However there is nowhere to store your bags on site, you can go to their corporate office 3 miles away.

Wedding night Parking was confusing. Paid 22 dollars for parking. Then got to the room and found a parking pass. Should have been told before check in. Out 22 dollars.

Comfortable and very spacious apartment-style accommodations. This is not the place to stay if you require room service or maid service but it suited us just fine. Communication with Guilt is done primarily via text. They are very quick to reply which is convenient. I wish they were able to accommodate our request for an early check in but they weren’t and they dont have a concierge or any place to leave your luggage while you wait for check in. We had to roll our luggage to a restaurant around the block where we had lunch and cocktails to pass the time. Bathroom was huge with lots of counter space but only 1 small sink. Bedroom had a nice walk in closet but no drawers anywhere for socks, tees and underwear. Washer/dryer is a bonus though we didn’t need it. Overall a good stay and I would stay with Guild again in the future.

It's not a Hotel The Guild room I stayed in was a 1 bedroom fully furnished apartment. It was clean, great wifi, fully equipped and well located. If you don't have to have your bed turned down with a little mint on your pillow every night, I would definitely recommend The Guild.

“Airbnb” kind of stay pretending to be a hotel Good: location Parking was confusing. No instructions beforehand. No concierge, deal with someone through text. Getting up the elevator, needed a key card. Key was in the room, so how to get up in the first place: ask other guests to let u in! No instructions for keypad, (you actually have to press the keypad logo for the keypad to light up and work). When checkout need to give back keycard, but then have to ask other guests to let you down the elevator. If you’re out of luck and there are no guests around, then you need to wait!!! Overall need improvements on clear instructions and logistics. And this should be on Airbnb instead of Hotels.com!!! I felt cheated.
