I had issues with some things about the unit I rented and the Kasa folks handled it perfectly. Great customer service is rare these days but Kasa still has it.

Nice but Noisy with poor Parking The property was well maintained and our apartment was clean. Our main concern was the lack of communication regarding parking, which is not included and the closes lot hours were 7pm - 7am. Which means even if you pay you can’t access after 7pm and you still need to park on the street. The unit was very noisy due to outside working being done around the building. We were awakened at 7am every morning for 4 days consecutively during our vacation.

Likes: Very clean. Decently decorated and cozy. Loved that there was a full kitchen. Loved that it included toaster and coffee pot, as well as a full size oven. Wonderful that there is a washer and dryer in unit. Dislikes: Only complaints were a lack of seating. Would be nice to include a chair or loveseat in the apartment, and more table chairs (there were only 2)

Smells of weed everywhere Overall, the room is ascetically clean and updated. Sink was partially clogged so had to wait for it to drain. Cons: Safety at the front door. There is a lot of traffic out of the 7/11 and had to wait to code into the building, plus the door didn't look well. The security person at the front said hi, but was busy talking with someone else. Biggest complain is smell of weed EVERYWHERE. Even into the rooms. Smell of smoke or week give me headaches so not very pleasant. Other complaint is TV was suppose to have streaming services and really only has PBS channels. Lastly, I reached out many times to the “24/7” virtual assistant. Didn't hear a thing back yet. Im sure this bad review will be hidden! The weed smell was the buzz killer for me, literally!!

Just don’t. Likes: Location, 7-11 OK site Dislikes: FILTHY, despite a hefty cleaning fee. Drug use pervasive throughout property, security guard was more interested in selling her trinkets than guest safety, they will not let you into the room early no matter what, even tho it doesn’t affect them whatsoever, “virtual” customer service takes hours to a day to respond, broken & cigarette burnt furniture, and then lastly again THE PLACE IS SO DIRTY.

The location is okay. We didn't feel fully safe at night as there were always folks hanging around the entrance (there is a 7/11 right there). The immediate surroundings were "meh," it didn't feel like a popular part of downtown. The unit itself was clean but the floor was scratched up, the cabinets were peeling, etc. I feel like the pictures show a more luxury stay, but that wasn't the vibe at all. I feel like there are definitely deals in Detroit with more character and better locations!
