Reviews of Kasa Cadillac Square DetroitReviews of Kasa Cadillac Square Detroit

The apartment was very clean and comfortable. it has everything we needed. The location was outstanding and within walking distance of so much. We would stay again.

No sheets the first night! For the most part everything was ok. Your typical cheap hotel experience. However— it was a big issue that one of the beds had no sheets on our first night. The pull out specifically. Which was really annoying considering that the pullout is listed as a bed on the booking site and we were asked multiple times through booking process how many guests were staying. When we arrived we contacted the hotel about the issue and were told where we could locate sheets in the building. A few of the floors have storage closets. Unfortunately— there were no sheets left in any of the closets. Because there is no staff on site, this meant all communication was happening through a chat bot and long story short, no sheets came on the first night. Just robotic apologies via text. We ended up going to Target and bought our own sheets so one of us could sleep comfortably. It was kind of cold in the hotel and there wasn’t even a single extra blanket in the room. Even crappy motels usually have that. The next morning someone knocked on our door and dropped off sheets. A little late for that. I guess now we know that this is the downside of booking at a virtually-run hotel.

Excellent location near the arenas. Excellent amenities. Arriving near midnight and code given not working was worrisome. It was fixed but would have been better if it worked and could get inside the building on arrival.

Overall everything was fantastic. The only issue was that I could not find any sheets, blankets, or pillows for the sofa bed.

Super cozy & comfortable. Very clean & they have security at front door.

Great place that has it all. Close to everything. Virtual check in/out were great.

Great place to stay. Stay was fabulous. Only thing, which is kinda small, there were not any pillows or blankets for the sleeper sofa. Other than that, everything was great.

Great place!!! Wonderful place to stay. Clean, spacious, great location to everything walking distance to downtown Detroit. Great room with everything you need, including fridge, washing machine in your room, assorted teas, with a view of downtown. Will be coming back!!

Not the cleanest but great location and customer service was good when needed it.

Very nice property! clean, comfy and cosy, great location and easy check in and check out

We had a wonder stay at this property. When we come back to Detroit we will come back here to stay.

Great location The apartment was very nicely, laid out and comfortable and extremely clean. The kitchen had more than enough supplies for our family of five staying the weekend. The communication between the manager and I was great. They responded very quickly to any text. The location is amazing. I highly suggest parking in the Greek town parking garage just to the left of the apartment building. About a block and a half away. Only cost us $30 for the whole weekend. Was easy to walk to most locations and the people mover was only a block and a half away. The only downfall is that the building needs insulation noise and installation that is. You can hear even a standard conversation that is being held in the hallway inside your apartment. A great bonus is there is a 7-Eleven‘s convenience store right attached to the apartment made it great to get up and walk down and get coffee in the morning. While the kids were still asleep! The location was safe enough that we felt we could leave our two teenage daughters and son alone in the apartment and walk over to the checkers bar on Saturday night for a nightcap. See photo attached The apartment building is the short white apartment building of the photo if you zoom in you can actually see Cadillac Square where the Detroit Christmas tree is and ice rink only two blocks walking. We will be back!

Great space, fantastic location, store located conveniently on first floor, and a block away from campus martius. Clean, responsive, and great space for 2-4 travelers (both bedrooms had queen sized beds).

The location is amazing. Lots of entertainment nearby. Though, entrance to the hotel is next to a rather lively convenience store. No shortage of city noises and people.

Thank you.

Perfect for a downtown stay!

Loved the location and the view. Easy check in and parking

This was such a perfect place to stay in Detroit! Central to bars and restaurants and walking distance to Ford Field. Clean and had the minimum amenities you'd expect from an apartment style unit.

Beds were not comfortable and we didn’t have clean bedding for the pullout sofa, but customer service was excellent. I was able to text and got an immediate reply where I could find everything we needed. Would definitely stay again!

We had room 1002 and it was great. The only issue was that we didn’t have enough towels. I texted kasa customer service and was on hold for over an hour. Once I provided all my information, the agent disappeared and I had to text again the following day. They finally told me that extra towels were in the storage closet down the hall.

Please fix the toilet seat

Great location for attending any event. Everything in walking distance. Will definitely come back.

Incredible views. Extremely clean. Would definitely stay here again!

Likes: Wonderful kitchen set up with exactly what we needed for our stay. But if you want to bake, bring your own bowls, cookie sheets , mixer etc. Loved the washer and dryer. Had a great looking dishwasher and stove/range, but didn't use them for this stay. Beautiful bathroom. But no grab/safety bars. Adequate waste containers, and supplies for kitchen use and clean up. Dislikes: Cold ❄️, bring your slippers. Furnace did work , but those floors, ice ❄️🥶. Well worn runner in hallway, was only floor covering. Did have 12" of carpet around bed frame. A pull out sofa in the living room, comfy, but no comfy chair. Two dining chairs at small table, screw fell out of one from previous use. No cable or DVD use available, ROKU only, so remember your logins and passwords.

I’ll start with all of the good. Excellent communication and technology. No issues with virtual check-in, etc. Excellent location and great views of the city. Great value. We stayed for two nights for $365 total over Thanksgiving and most average hotel rooms were close to 1k a night. I had read on previous reviews that linens were not in the room and ready for the pullout sofa so I messaged ahead and asked that they be ready. They were not so we had to go to the concierge closets on each floor to find linens and attempt to find pillows which we only ended up finding one pillow. The pillows on main bed were small square pillows and my husband gave up one of his small pillows so each kid would have one pillow. Kasa was quick to respond the next day and was apologetic. Also, security needs to get a little tighter at doorway. Security was super kind and nice but not necessarily keeping non-guests out. A gentleman slipped in behind my daughters and was looking to go in elevator

Flintstones Bed Bed was hard as a rock, like Fred’s and Wilma’s. HVAC was either HELL on Fire or the ARTIC. Although convenience to locations was great, size of rooms was awesome. Fix the bed and hvac and you will get 5 stars from me.

I stayed for Thanksgiving NFL game and this location was perfect. It is in a downtown city area, there were some homeless people around but the building was secure with a keypad entry and security guard. Looked just like the photos. The management was responsive to my questions. They allowed me access to the building prior to check-in to store my luggage and after check-out because my flight times were off. The unit was clean and spacious. Washer and dryer was a nice bonus and there were plenty of cleaning supplies, dishes, cookware, etc. It was a little more expensive than what I usually rent on airbnb, but for the convenience, it was worth it. We did not rent a car and were able to walk to Greektown Casino, Hart Plaza, the Huntington Complex, Renaissance Center, Campus Martius Park, etc. easily. We also easily walked back to the building from the Ford Field. I would recommend!

The apartment was not clean, also the sheets did not fit bed and kept falling off. With a better housekeeping and some updates, it would be a great place to stay!

Had a great stay. Other family members in the same building made getting to events and restaurants easy to coordinate.

Overall the location was appropriate for what we needed in Detroit. There was so much to do. However there were not many towels in the room and no soap. Kasa was responsive and informed me where to find essential. The rooms were clean. I would stay again. I felt safe. The beds were comfortable

Very cozy clean nice home

Who needs room service when there is a 7/11 downstairs!

Not an ideal location

Great location

Rooms were clean and neat. Location was nice. Will definitely rent a room here in the future.

Great property, the only downfall was that we had two rooms for a work trip and all the communication just went to one person even after trying to change that.

Very easy to deal with. Place was very clean. Had a very nice view of historic building. Was comfortable and had everything we needed for our stay. Location was perfect right in the heart of Detroit. Walking to river, historic monuments and landmarks, campus martius, casinos, stadiums, breweries, and restaurants. Price was very reasonable especially for location. Has secured access to building and units. Definitely look forward to visiting again. Kasa are great hosts.

Nice hotel Very nice and clean plus affordable!

This is a great place to stay, everything was clean, great view, surrounded by different restaurants and over all great experience I will make this my decompression spot at least once a month.

Great place to stay. Everything was as described in the description. Very comfortable, very clean felt just like home. I will be booking again.!

Nice place to stay

Awesome place to stay! Large room, very clean, comfy king bed and full kitchen! Very secure building in the heart of downtown Detroit. Christmas decor around Cadillac Square is gorgeous, many things with in walking distance.
