we stayed 2 nights and had a great time. The apartment is what it looks like online. Clean and spacious with great amenities. We were on the fifth floor and had no noise issues at all. Sonder was also very responsive to any concerns we had.

Location is great and the view was nice, but the room was a lot more beat up than expected. Also we had no hot water our whole stay and they didnt tell us before we checked in, even though other guests said the water was off days before our arrival. They gave a discount but should have told us before we even arrived. Also, we had a small issue getting our check in information, which was resolved with some strange outsourced help chat.

The no free parking lot included made it hard to find somewhere to park nearby where you could park overnight and close to the hotel

Comfortable and perfect location however, bad experience with hot water issue. Likes: Location was perfect and close to all main areas of downtown Detroit. The unit itself was clean and provided everything we needed for the stay. We also felt safe with the security and door code. Dislikes: The biggest issues were that our first day and our last day, the hot water was broken in the building. It was cold downtown and a hot shower would've been perfect after a day of walking around in the cold, so that was the biggest inconvenience. The Sonder team was able to reimburse a fair amount for this issue. The other compliant is that it was a little loud in the hallways. We can hear all the neighbors talking as they walk by and doors slamming.

This was my partner and I’s first time staying with Sonder, and we were more than pleased. Clean rooms, quiet neighbors, and easy entry. Will definitely be staying again when we visit Detroit instead of an AirBnB or hotel.

We had an initial bump when it came to check in. The security staff is amazingly helpful. They helped us to realize we were at the wrong location. Once we got there, we were delighted with the quality of the apartment. It was stylish and clean. I would stay again in a heartbeat.

Great price for location. Likes: Clean, great location, ease of check in and check out. Ease to come and go. Great location to downtown entertainment. Walking distance to everything. Great price. Dislikes: Bed and pull out sofa not the best quality or comfort.

Space was cute. Beautiful views. Nice downtown location. Could visibly see where the entry door to the apartment had been pry-barred and slammed a hole into the wall behind it. That was poorly repaired. Rooms were quite small. Underneath the beds were filthy, lots of handprints everywhere, and visibly dirty walls. Decent upon first glance but the closer you look the more you find wrong with the upkeep of the apartment.

Great location, clean room Likes: The room was bigger than expected. It was easy to check in and out. The room was clean. We could walk to everything which was the best part. We walked to lions stadium, xmas village, tons of restaurants and the casino. The beds were comfortable and plenty of linens. We did have our blinds break but they resolved the problem quickly Dislikes: The seven eleven at the entrance but that's really not Sonder fault. You just have to be careful bc there's always shady people there at night

Great location to visit Ford Field. Roomy apartment with all you need in the kitchen. TV isn’t on cable so the shows we could watch were not major network ones. Don’t expect luxury but it’s a great place on a budget and the two bedrooms worked well for us. We were on floor 2 and had no noise issues.

Too expensive for low quality Likes: Great location downtown. Convenient to just about everything in Detroit Dislikes: Room wasn’t super clean - hair on toilet seat and in sink. Towels were disgusting and stained - had to dry myself after my shower with the hand towels. Second floor had tons of street noise, but white noise machine was provided to help with that.

Best value for money accommodation I got a view facing the city hall. Best facilities and comfort. Was not happy with check in time being 4pm, early check in not possible without payment even if rooms are ready. 7 eleven downstairs is worth it. Overall Love it love it!!
